This is a wonderful gem that I am so happy we found. My mother grew up in Austria and we spent every other year visiting our family in Austria. The Abendblume was very comparable to our Austrian visits, and this Pension/B and B exceeded our expectations.

This is one of the most stunning B&Bs out there, it is nestled up near the mountains in Leavenworth with the most stunning views. Every room is unique and different with very tasteful decor. Many rooms have the soaking tubs as well. Beds and linens were extremely comfortable!! There is a dining area that is available throughout your stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! An evening dessert was also provided. The property itself is just awesome with very well maintained garden, a beautiful outdoor patio with a hot tub, and again… the views!!! We loved this property and would definitely stay again.

No one was there initially to greet us upon check in. We were able to find our room and once arrived, someone was able to come check in with us to ensure we made it to the room comfortably. The only issue we had was that with the age of the home, the door handle broke and we were locked out of our room for the night. The staff did their best to make additional arrangements and called a locksmith the next morning. While an unfortunate part of our trip, it didn’t take away from how much we loved Abendblume!

While built beautifully with a B&B as the plan, The Abendblume was built to give you the feel of Bavaria. The building and the rooms are lovely. The patio was lovely and nice to sit with morning coffee or an evening wine (provided by guest). It was only a mile from town and you felt like you were further away, which was nice.

The B&B lacked much of what we typically expect. The rooms were very overpriced and the breakfast mediocre at best. There was literally no contact with our host and it lacked anything other than a small breakfast and dessert in the evening. After spending time in Leavenworth and returning, it would have been nice to have some tea/lemonade made up with some small snack......nothing.
