Very close and convenient, everything was walkable.
The water pressure in the shower and at the sink was minimal. The gas stove grate was slippery and the pan wouldn’t stay put unless you held it.

No breakfast, but a good coffee maker with several coffee packets and creamer, etc. Newer fridge so we kept a few items inside. No a/c but it cools down even in August and there is an overhead fan. VERY quiet unit and so central to town but being one block in, it was even quieter. Good breakfast place called Olde Timer's Cafe opened at 7 and was right around the corner from the motel. Good coffee.
Walls were thin but luckily our neighbors were quiet after just a few minutes of coming in for the evening.. TV remote needed new batts and the owner was quick to replace them.

It wasn’t the Ritz but that is not what we wanted. It was a short getaway to the mountains. Ben and Paul’s were an absolute joy and the location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and trails. Just what the ‘doctor’ ordered. We will be back.

Good location and comfy bed. The room has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Also, a much needed fan.
Too rustic/basic and so hot. The room had a strong pet urine smell.
