Our stay at Shoreline Cottage was absolutely perfect! The location couldn't have been better—just steps from Cape Meares Beach with stunning ocean views and a peaceful, private setting that made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. The home was beautifully clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We especially loved the thoughtful touches throughout—from the cozy fireplace to the fully equipped kitchen and the relaxing hot tub. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining this space. Waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee with a view of the ocean was a dream.
This cottage truly offers the best of both worlds: comfort and seclusion. We can’t wait to come back!

The location was beautiful, 1200’ from the shore however you won’t access it from the property! You’ll have to walk or drive to the access point just down the road.
We booked in winter, unbeknownst to us a major winter storm would hit and put down at least 1/2 in of ice. The power went out on us shortly after arriving and wasn’t restored for about 8 hours! It was 18 degrees. To add to the story we attempted to leave because there weren’t any groceries there, we found the roadway was blocked by several large trees that had fallen due to the ice. It’s a one way in and one way out! Thank God they were able to clear this by the next morning. I might add that the porch was extremely slick and the electronic keypad for door access was frozen as well. There was only enough firewood to heat the upstairs slightly and as stated above no way to retrieve more. A suggestion I would make is a generator for such instances that could be operated by a small propane tank for such occasions as ours.
