Cedar Gables Inn

Very clean and cozy. .

This was a charming, old mansion, transformed into an inn, with five guest rooms. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The bed was plush and comfortable. Our room had a renovated, modern bath that had a comforting shower, and every fixture worked well. The air conditioning from a split system worked well and was not noisy. The location had good signal for our mobile phones with T-Mobile. We drove here with a Travato camper van, which, thankfully, fit into a parking spot on the property. However, if it had not fit, there was plenty of street parking nearby. Downtown was within a mile of the inn and was an easy walk. We opted to eat breakfast at the inn. It was a good meal of good value. Overall, the stay was an excellent value. The price of the stay was one of the lowest in the area.

Because it was an old mansion, the stairs were creaky. Probably, the sound insulation was not that great. However, all the guests were respectful and quiet, and we noticed no noise while we slept peacefully. You might think that the creakiness was part of the charm of the place.

The Inn was great value and location to downtown Napa. My room was small but perfect for a my needs with all the comports in place. The building is beautiful with wonderful lobby and eating area. You stay at this inn if you like beautiful older older inn that is comfortable and provides a unique experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful - communication was super clear for my late check in.

We loved the charm and character of the inn. The historic home was beautiful, cozy, and very welcoming. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the property had a relaxing atmosphere that made for an enjoyable stay. The location was also convenient for exploring Napa, and the unique character of the inn made it feel much more special than a typical hotel.

The biggest disappointment was the communication and customer service regarding an incorrect breakfast charge. We were charged for breakfast that we did not have, and despite multiple messages requesting a refund, the issue was not resolved. Responses were delayed, and after being told the refund had been processed, my bank confirmed there was no pending credit. I ultimately had to dispute the charge. It's unfortunate because the inn itself is lovely, but the handling of this situation left a negative impression and took away from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
