El Royale Gardens Near Universal Studios

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and modern. Loved that it was so close to Universal Studios and in a relatively quiet area, within walking distance to restaurants. A short drive to Hollywood. Would not recommend walking to Universal from here, though, take a ride.

Parking was difficult in the tiny parking lot. There were not enough spaces and it was nearly impossible to get out of.

Location.

Clean and kept well for its age.

The staffs were amazing. They were so helpful and kind and even care about my safety and travel. When I had noise issue from the next door, he helped me as much as he could. I felt like I was staying relatives house.

The wall was a bit thin. Was able to hear conversation from outside or next door. Also a bit far from station.

Location is a 5 minute uber to universal! Staff was nice who let me check in early however as a female I felt a little awkward with only male staff around who I’m sure one was being friendly but made me feel kinda uneasy ! But Room looked and smelled clean! Free parking and Wi-Fi !

We were in rm 102; the lock on the door wouldn’t lock right unless we slammed the door at the same time and turned the lock , shower water pressure was horrible, the AC in the room was horrible and we were hot trying to sleep, the groundskeeper makes a ton of noise super early in the morning and it felt like it just surrounded my room, bathroom door wouldn’t close right and is kinda see through; they were a few baby ants along the edge of the shower floor!
