The staff were all very helpful and addressed our concerns.

The rooms we stayed in were spacious and clean. The only downside was the toilet in the bathroom. You are almost sitting on the floor when using the toilet.

The peaked roofline that obstructed the views in both rooms. Also, the construction noise. We should have been informed before we booked the room about the construction. We don’t go on vacation to hear pounding and drilling.

I'll visit this hotel again

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. The suites are: (1) big, (2) very clean, (4) beautiful, and (4) thoughtfully designed with a great kitchen; it's far better than your average compact hotel room. There are 2 TVs in the suite with plenty of streaming services. There are also washing machines and dryers on each floor. We were lucky to have a room with an ocean view and watching the sunrise from the balcony was unforgettable. The amenities are great, but it’s the staff that are truly kind. They let our kids use the pool after checkout and provided everything we needed for a final shower. With stunning beaches and restaurants within walking distance, it’s the perfect getaway. Even with the holiday pricing, the hospitality made it completely worth it.

This facility was by far the best we have stayed thus far, especially the price. The location was wonderful, and the staff made all the difference. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Our view was partial blocked by the roof on the lower floor. A recliner in the living room would be a plus.

Sadly disappointing, although the location is great.

Great location, walking distance from the beach and restaurants (across a main road but it was out of high season when we visited so the road was quiet).

We had a view of the car park. The hotel was very quiet but the member of staff we spoke to said all the sea view rooms were busy. We really don’t believe that was true. The second (sofa) bed was very uncomfortable without a mattress protector - very lumpy. It wasn’t made up when we arrived but a very kind young lady did this for us efficiently. The swimming pool was undergoing maintenance (and has been for a while, evidently, although we were not told that in advance). There is no restaurant facility.

Great place for a short get away.

The location you could sit outside and joy a beer or wine with a great view of the beach and the very small town.

If you wanted to have a good breakfast, you had to travel outside the town. We had to book a time to see the light house and it was closed during our, stay.

The location is beautiful with spectacular views!!! Prime location!! The rooms are clean, spacious, and wonderful. The staff are all so kind and helpful making sure our stay was wonderful! Great for a family vacation, great place for kids!

The only thing that could use a little improvement, is that the pool could get crowded at times because people had day passes for the pool. And off and on monitoring of pool activity would be helpful because there were days when there was rough playing going on in the pool that was affecting others in the pool, and also people were using the pool life jackets to keep the gate open for others to get in without the use of guest keys. I let the front desk know this and they told us to let them know when we see it happen again and they would send staff out there to take care of that. They were very helpful in recognizing that this was not acceptable and helping us on how to handle it when it did happen again. Great helpful staff, always on it!!

Large comfortable room with nice bathroom.

Very noisy. The first night the fire alarm went off due to a malfunction in an elevator on another floor. The next night a guest in either the next room over or the room over ours kept jumping/moving furniture. It was very disturbing.

The renovated rooms are beautiful.

My main suggestion would be for the hotel they get Chromecast or allow devices such as fire stick to be provided because the TV situation is horrible. What are my favorite things to do with my kids is to watch a movie every night. We couldn't do that.

Our 6th stay went ...

The location is superb. We do enjoy the game room. However, due to limited space and the number of people staying there, we don't always get to play the games we'd like to, but it's still fun when we do.

Coffee was empty a few times. Decaf was cold. Hot water wasn't hot at the drink station. Not sure if staff just neglected it or if it was just time to not refill anything. But the coffee was definitely empty for a while and the decaf was very cold so I wind up throwing my coffee away. There is construction currently going on which is okay. It's improving the rooms, however losing the giant elevator does affect being able to get to and from your room when you're moving a lot of luggage.

Check in is at 4, and room still wasn't ready then. Had to argue with the staff to fight to get into a room With our two small kids. Pool area was gross--crowded, lots of people Drinking. No restaurants on site, weird for a "resort" We were far from all restaurants, and Avila Is very crowded with limited parking This is a time share hotel, so regular guests are low Priority. There were no rooms Available to guests that didn't face the parking lot.

The staff seemed bothered almost every time we needed something. They didn’t offer to help an elderly woman with her luggage cart. The resort fee wasn’t worth it, I wish I could have opted out of the coffee bar that was also lacking.

The room and grounds were very clean, there were a lot of different activities available and the view was beautiful!

Amazing location in Avila Beach!

Amazing location, easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Avila Beach. The views from the property are fantastic. Plenty of family friendly activities ( pool, ping pong, oversize chess board, bags, etc ). Evening wine and cheese was a nice touch and all the staff members were fantastic.

With the renovations, the shower water pressure is very weak.

Great Location and view. They had a room to accommodate 5 adults in one suite that included a kitchen which was ideal for a girls trip!

Facility could use some updating for sure. An on-site cafe or bar would have made the stay even better.

Amazing location, amazing staff

The location, room, and staff were exceptional! I was impressed with just how much we enjoyed our stay there. Eileen at the front desk was amazing and so sweet! She made us feel so welcome and was so polite and kind to us all. I would definitely recommend staying here it’s worth it!

Incredible views

The suites were big and comfortable. There are plenty of beautiful common areas such as the pool and decks with view. The check-in was smooth, friendly staff, and the place has free parking. The best thing is the views of the ocean, are outstanding.

While there was much to appreciate during my stay, certain aspects of the room did not meet contemporary expectations. The hotel's fixtures and furnishings, including key items like the fridge, TV, toaster, and even the couch and bathrooms, seem to have remained unchanged for quite some time.
