Cozy room, comfy bed and the bathroom was very spacious and clean and bright. Its very enchanting how they updated this castle buy keeping its original charm but not all at feeling like sleeping in an "old dank castle". We are 100% coming back. Next time we want to stay on 3rd floor with water view. We got a peak at those rooms and they looked even better. We were on the second floor this time.
Really the biggest concern we noticed was no AC...atleast not in every room that we know of. We stayed in winter so no problem but its something people need to know before booking in summer. And the fridge buzzed pretty lound which can be comforting to some but worth noting.

I've stayed here many times and knew it was an old but interesting building. It's a bit threadbare but very clean and the price point is excellent. The restaurant and bar are convenient and we had drinks at the bar but not dinner. A lot of happy looking people were having dinner there so I assume it was a good place to have Mexican food. The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were very nice.
I reserved a cottage thinking it was a stand alone building. Unfortunately it was not, my mistake, and the person in the other part of the cottage talked long and loudly on the telephone both before bedtime and after waking.
