Amazing venue in the heart of Gaslamp!

The Hotel Room, Cocktail and Bars and Pool House were all excellent! The Turkey Club Sandwich was one of the best we ever had!

It rained on Day 1 so the pool house wasn’t open.

Best stay at a hotel that we’ve had in a while!

Location was spectacular, staff was so friendly and attentive. We felt super safe and taken care of while we stayed. The view from our room was so nice to wake up to.

The only thing that could have been better was out purchase of the trolley tour tickets. The concierge was not very knowledgeable. We got told the wrong times of the trolley pick up and was given wrong directions.

The property is in a fabulous location right in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.

Unfortunately due to a booking.com error we were unable to be offered a room of any kind. After a huge day of travel, our luggage was unloaded and our vehicle valet, we waited around for them to figure out they didn’t have a room for us, this took over an hour, which left us scrambling for alternative accommodation at 7:30pm. 3 days later we still haven’t received a refund.

Good location

Not catered for families at all. Pool was surrounded by drunk day pass guests who made it impossible for families to go to the pool. Intimidating and unruly crowd. Hotel tried to charge a “service fee” which after explanation I understand this was for usage of the pool!!! Disgraceful for what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel!!!

The location of the property was excellent with a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff were extremely hospitable and tended to every need and want. The stay was an incredible and relaxing time with the staff as the highlight.

A great stay!

Great location (Petco park 2 min walk), clean, friendly staff and valet was excellent. Nason’s beer hall (restaurant inside Pendry) was brilliant, has its own games room.

Lobby was closed whilst under ‘maintenance’ so had to use a different entrance. Got back to our room at 16:30pm and it had not been cleaned (because of it being a busy check out day), reception did sort it but it took 2 phone calls to do so.

It was an excellent stay which excelled in terms of room size and décor, location and vibes.

very large room with high ceilings and contemporary layout and furniture. Location in the heart of Gaslamp quarter was the added bonus with plenty of classical and funcky eating places around. It was a walking distance to the convention center and the walk through the downtown was enjoyable. Additionally, the staff was super friendly.

Amazing hotel. A real luxurious hotel and so gorgeous. Staff were so friendly. Room was so nice and bed was comfortable. Perfect location. Walking distance to so many restaurants. There were markets on the weekend near the hotel. Pool was so cool with an outdoor bar. A little pricey but worth it if your looking for a bit of luxury

We planned to leave on Sunday, but with the impending hurricane, we changed our plans to leave on Saturday. We informed the hotel of this change on Friday morning, as well as explaining the reason for the change. In spite of this, they would not refund the extra charge. We expect better treatment from a top quality hotel.

Would recommend Pendry to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a little elegance.

Located in Gaslamp District. Ballpark and great restaurants were easy walking distance. Rooms were elegant but inviting. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was well designed.

Nothing comes to mind except the expense. It was my wife and my 35 Anniversary so we splurged and are glad we did!

Exceptional

Beautiful, clean, hotel. I stayed with my teenage daughter for her birthday and we loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly. Room service was delicious, quality food. We came back each day to a pristine room with surprise treats left on the counter. Location is close to lots of restaurants and quick uber to airport, and Coronado island.

A great hotel, the pool area was amazing! The staff there was amazing! Nice and comfort rooms, the location is perfect for a city trip! After our stay on a yacht, we used it as a stop over and it was perfect!
