This is a nice, basic hotel with decent, comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location did not quite work for me, but if you don't mind a walk to the closest subway stop, it's a great budget choice and just 1 or 2 stops into Manhattan on the train.

Pleasant enough stay, including mini-fridge in room, a nice touch. Breakfast was slow because all hot dishes were served by a chef; only coffee and cereal were self-serve. Main drawback is location: only 10 minutes walk from a subway stop, but through a very sketchy, unpopulated area which I wasn't comfortable walking in when it was dark. If you only plan to be out and about during daylight hours, this place would be fine.
