About this chalet rental

We have always been proud of our properties cleanliness but have further added to our stringent cleaning routines. Extra cleaning protocols have been put in place to keep everyone safe against corona virus. We will be working to the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers' cleaning protocols which have been accepted by the Scottish government.

Na Craigean Lodge has a bright, spacious, open plan living room / dining room and kitchen area with vaulted ceiling, oak flooring, and under floor heating throughout. From the comfortable sofas the large picture windows make the most of the amazing views of Schiehallion and also the deer that inhabit the other side of the pond.

These views are shared by the master bedroom which also has French doors that lead out to the balcony which stretches the length of the property.

The fully equipped kitchen, with top of the range appliances and a spacious dining area gives the Lodge a feeling of home away from home where you can enjoy sit down meals together.

The three generous sized bedrooms (Two king-size, and one twin) have comfortable beds, fitted wardrobes and dressing tables. All bedrooms enjoy luxury en-suite / private bathrooms which are tastefully tiled.

All of the above features are designed to make your stay at Na Craigean Lodge as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Enjoyed our 5 nights at the lodge. It was well equipped for a relaxing stay. In a remote location, but we were able to explore many other areas within a couple hours of the lodge each day. Lots of other amenities (restaurants, groceries etc.) available in nearby Aberfeldy.

Great lodge in a stunning location. Plenty of beautiful walks. Pitlochry is a lovely place with lots of places to eat with really good food. Only fault was some of the kitchen pans were not clean and it could have done with more cutlery. But would love to stay there again.

We had a fabulous time at Na Craigean cottage. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pics. The cottage was clean & well equipped. Grandparents & kids enjoyed equally. It is a bit of drive to the closest grocery store. Overall, a fantastic experience!!

This was a nice retreat for a few nights. It was able to accommodate our group in one place. It was quiet and the surroundings were very peaceful. While the place was "clean" it needed a little help cleaning up the cobwebs as they were found throughout the place, inside and out. I guess depending on what you're used to, the mattress in at least 1 bedroom could be updated as it was sagging. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a comfortable space. It would have been nice to have some blankets to use outside and enjoy that space more. A great spot and with a few minor changes, it would be practically perfect.

We had an amazing time in Na Craigean, absolutely beautiful location and perfect for exploring the local scenery. Everything that was needed was provided, we had a slight problem the first day but the owners solved it right away. Would love to go back!

Myself, my husband and our two children have just spent six nights at this beautiful lodge, we did not want to leave! It was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could ever need, spacious and boasted the most magnificent view of the loch with its resident swans and ducks, the mountains and the deer park beyond where red deer can be seen roaming. We loved the peace and quiet that the location offered, but did not feel isolated as we were only a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Weem, Aberfeldy and Kenmore. Everything ran so smoothly that we had no need to contact the property owners Anna and Mark, but I have no doubt that should we have needed them, they would have been super helpful just like they were in all our communications in the run up to our stay. This lodge absolutely made our holiday!! :)

Great stay at the lodge…beautiful surroundings, the deer opposite and the swans on the loch. Lodge was very luxurious. 18 inches of snow fell with storm Eunice on our last night… but the hosts were very good about letting us stay an extra night until the roads cleared and the kids just loved it!

Great lodge with fantastic views and stunning scenery all around. Booking was easy with no issues and easy access on arrival thanks to the details provided by Anna. Lodge was lovely and clean with a supply of toiletries provided in each of the three bathrooms. Rooms are a great size and we appreciated each room having its own thermostat to control the efficient underfloor heating so we could have the bedroom cooler than the lounge. It was lovely to arrive and find a fully decorated and lighted Christmas tree, together with a gift of chocolates and wine, thank you! We would love to return in the summer when longer days and brighter weather would encourage us to explore more of the area.

Great property for a long weekend. Lovely location for watching the wildlife and had the weather been a wee bit kinder then some lovely walks into the hills could have been had. Property was perfect giving ample space for socialising but also private spaces for time out from family conversations.

I have no words! This property was amazing! The views were just incredible! Such a lovely setting. The lodge its self was so clean. The decor was so lovely too. We took our 2 dogs and 3 year old girl and everyone loved it! Can't wait to come back again! So many lovely things to do in the surrounding areas. We had the most wonderful stay at this amazing property. The location and views are simply breathtaking. It’s such a peaceful setting looking at the mountains and deer from the large outdoor decking area, and it has great access to the local towns, lochs, hiking and water sports. Anna was super helpful providing local areas to visit and had excellent communication throughout booking and during our stay. The property itself is huge and we had lots of space to not feel on top of each other. The lodge is stocked with everything you would need. The beds are super comfortable, and it was really helpful to have separate bathrooms for each bedroom. One of the most memorable stays we have had, and we look forward to returning in future. Thank you!

Beautiful views welcomed us. The lodge is lovely, spacious and well equipped. Communication with the owners is great. We should have stayed at the lodge for Christmas 2020 but they closed the Scottish boarders three days before we were due to arrive thanks to Covid, so we moved it to the summer holidays. The owners were happy to assist in any way they could with this which was very helpful. We chose the wettest week for Scottish weather… the two weeks before had a parent apparently been beautiful and as we left the forecast for the week ahead looked more promising but this didn’t stop us exploring. We climbed schiehallion in rain coats & wow what a view well worth the climb. Queens view is worth a visit, loch Tay for kayaking (although ours got cancelled due to high winds) it’s beautiful. The falls at Aberfeldy are lovely. We walked it in the rain but it’s mostly under trees so not to bad for a wet weather walk. It’s a 2 mile walk up across and back down so good for little legs. Great waterfalls at Killin if you like scrambling on rocks, the kids and dogs loved it. The deer park opposite is beautiful. Every time we looked out at that beautiful view it looked different. It truly is a beautiful location. We used the sofas on the decking only once on a dry evening but not for long as it was a little chilly. Take a citronella candle for the decking to keep the Midges away and also take some insect repellent. We forgot a candle but it was so wet we didn’t bother. If you got a dry week I should imagine you would be out there every evening. We ate at The Fountain, Scozia (Italian) and Ailean Chraggan hotel in Aberfeldy all were lovely. Pitlochry is a pretty town to explore Hetties tea room has lovely cake. Ben Lawers Dam is worth the drive, beautiful views driving there & an impressive dam for sure. Castle Menzies is also worth a visit again great for a wet day. So much history & the staff are so informative and friendly. So much to see and do around the area I’m sure I’ve missed loads. We would like to visit again maybe in October to see the Autumn colours. The lodge is so welcoming and the views so beautiful we will definitely visit again.

Arrived on a beautiful day, views absolutely amazing and sitting out of an evening on the extensive decking was just bliss. The property exceeded all of our expectations, spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved their en suite, as did we! We brought lots of games which kept us entertained but we needn’t have bothered because there were many games available in the lodge. Huge TV which we hooked up to our Prime so we could snuggle up and enjoy a movie. Felt like a home from home. Easy access to the Cairngorms and down to Loch Lomond as well as local lochs such as Loch Tay with its white sand that made it perfect for a day out with the kids. We shall be back!

This is an excellent lodge with large outdoor area overlooking the hills and as a bonus a herd of red deer. 15 min drive to Aberfeldy which is worth the remote and quiet location of the lodge. The Inn on the Tay in Grantully was excellent for food overlooking the river- a great dining experience. The Courtyard a short drive away also nice for a quick bite of lunch.

The property is very clean and has everything you need for some time away. The extended decking is fantastic to watch the deer etc and there’s always plenty hot water for adults showering or bathing. Enjoyed a great weekend break at Glengoulandie. The lodge was lovely...very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The views were fantastic and I imagine during warmer weather it would be great to sit outside in the decking area. Only a short drive to Aberfeldy. Mark and Anna were exceptionally good hosts. We hope to return again in the future.

Thanks to Anna and Mark for a great stay at the lodge. Great size, super clean and all the little details made it a true home from home. It’s a lovely location with peaceful views and walks to explore. Our 3 and 5 year old loved a trip to the Highland Safaris to feed the deers, canoeing on Loch Tay, Queens View and the lovely park at Aberfeldy. A great few days and we will look forward to visiting again.
