Bad experience, demanding some compensation in way of refund.

Location

1. No room service after first night. Inquired and was asked “did you ask for room service?” 2. Pool was down 3. Every ice machine was down 4. Had to get ice from front desk, waited nearly 10 min for staff, then waited another 5 min to get ice bucket filled. 5. Bathroom door hit the tile floor and did not close for privacy. 6. Toilet paper roll was a makeshift rod sticking out of the wall, roll would fall off that rod constantly. 7. Misleading when I booked room, breakfast said “Free Breakfast”, we would have stayed somewhere else if we knew it was an extra charge. 8. Nasty stains on the walls, one smear looked like semen, another looked like drips of blood.

Clean comfortable stay.

Comfortable and clean rooms. I liked how when we came back from being out during the day- our room was cleaned and straightened up.

My only complaints were the check in and internet. Upon check in, the line was very long and check in was moving slow. When it was my turn, he told me about the hold for the stay and how it would be $20 per night and I agreed and then attempted to charge my card over $500. I’m unsure what card was on file but it didn’t go through and he didn’t tell me until after the fact he was trying to charge that amount. He then stated I didn’t pay for my stay yet when I did so he checked into it and realized that I did and then proceeded to continue to check me in. When we got to the room, the internet on the tv wasn’t working and we called the front desk to ask about it and he said it was an ongoing issue that they were aware of but didn’t know when it would be fixed. Again I wish this was something that was stated at check in so then we would have been made aware.

The location was acceptable. The price was decent.

I was in room 220. The bathroom door was so warped it would not close all the way. The cable TV lost signal after about an hour of viewing. There was no no complimentary coffee in the lobby. There was no complementary breakfast.

It was a great experience!

The set up of the room was very nice, the bed facing the sun. And it had the triangle went pillows as a headboard. Then the fridge and microwave were hidden. The shower was nice and big and there were plenty of towels. The lighting was good to do make up, also. It also smells clean everywhere you went.

There was no warning that TV was an up charge.

Okay for a night

The staff was very friendly and when our rooms air conditioner wasn't working they moved us to another room quickly.

Strong smell of cigarettes and pot in the hallway. Also didn't like that there was a surprise security deposit when it wasn't mentioned in booking.com listing.

Good place to stay around Toledo.

The guy at the reception was extremely nice. He recommended a nice place for dinner on a Sunday evening which was very helpful.

It was fine, good value for the money paid.

The accessible room was nice and large, the bathroom had a very good shower for an older man with balance problems, lots of grips to hold onto, and a seat if it was needed.

The mini fridge didn't keep my chocolate milk very cold, and the bed could have been more comfortable, I arose in the morning with a hurting back that went away after I began to move around. I didn't sleep very well, but I don't sleep well anywhere, including at home.

The breakfast was supposed to be included but was not. Was told that I had to request breakfast when booking the room - that’s BS.

The bathroom door was not on hinge’s properly and you could not shut it all the way ☹️☹️ The luggage charts were half the size of most hotels. You had to become a rewards member to get free wi-fi which has never been the case at any other hotel I have stayed at!😡😡😡

Amazing staff but cleanliness is lacking for the price

The staff were exceptional and so kind. I also liked the little restaurant they have. Simple but okay in a pinch!

Rooms weren’t very clean, first room I went to wasn’t even made. Second room looked good I thought until I really got in there. In the shower there was hairs and had a weird smell. The light switch in the bathroom visibly had dirt on it and door handle also had dirt you could feel caked on

It overly smelled like cleaning products and it caused my husband to have really bad allergies. We found blood on our pillow and comforter and the AC soaked the floor under it. No one ever came to restock us in towels or even toilet paper

No snacks, no drinks, fryers and ovens weren’t working on breakfast area, no bottled water, had to ask attendants how to get into pool because cards don’t give access.

Disappointing breakfast situation

Clean rooms.

The breakfast that was included and charged in the price of the room was mysteriously changed to a complimentary breakfast coupon for ONE person, even though we were two adults on the reservation. On reading reviews from other guests, I realized this is a regular practice, and the manager just blames it on the booking provider. This is the first time I have experienced this, and I will not be staying at this hotel or this hotel chain again. I know I will get a generic meaningless response from the management. If the management was serious in recognizing and addressing the problem, it would not be occurring repeatedly with many guests. Very disappointing. 'Complimentary' means getting something you have not paid for. So basically, guests are being duped of the breakfast they have paid for and what is promised on their reservation. Some guests need their breakfast so that they can have their medications. I hope the management will take the time to read this review and take appropriate corrective action. If you want guests to pay for their breakfast, be upfront about it. Do not say that 'breakfast is included'. This is deceitful and not good business ethics.

Access road full of potholes, mattress sags in the middle, concession stand only has chips, no bottled water on the premises, no vending machines, towels dirty, watered down liquid soap. Walked in to checkin at 9pm, nobody in the lobby, nobody at the front desk, stood around for 15 minutes before someone showed up. Took an extra $20 deposit with no explanation why since there’s no facility on the premises to spend it on

Lobby was very nice. Seemed too large for no reason. Room was nice size & beds were away from hall door & bathroom. Good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Quiet rooms except for air conditioner. Lady at front desk in daytime was a joy!! Very sweet.

There was no hot tub & pool was unusable due to chemicals for a few days. Carpets throughout were stained & dirty. Air conditioner in room made too much noise & filters needed changed. Plastic lampshade between two beds was broken. Comforter on one bed had stains & shower liner had stains.

Comfortable room but poor technology.

Lacey at the front desk was wonderful, as was the morning person at the desk. The girl working the restaurant, however, needs to take some breaths or practice meditation. Blew up when the system went down. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Technology. TV in the room didn’t work half the time. The air conditioner was old, loud, and did not cool down the room. All screens in the lobby weren’t functioning, and point of sale was down.
