Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Monica

The location was great. Very central and waking distance from Santa Monica Pier and the Mall. Jacuzzi, gym and metro across the road were an advantage.

The breakfast options. Some green salad, cucumber and tomatoes would have been nice options for the digestion. The advertised price to what I paid were inconsistent! They didn’t clean our room everyday and we also made sure to take the sign off!

It has nothing to do with the property but all the extra taxes was a bit of a surprise to me although I’m pretty sure I read about it when booking, it just added more than I anticipated.

Clean and good location

I was very disappointed with my stay, especially considering the price of this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was lacking. The valet staff did not acknowledge us at all, and I actually had to go inside and ask whether the valet service even belonged to the hotel because no one greeted or assisted us. The front desk experience was no better and had an attitude. The staff was not welcoming or friendly. They simply stared at us when we walked in, and I had to initiate the conversation by saying I was there to check in. The breakfast was also disappointing and did not meet expectations for a hotel at this price point.
