Looking for something and came across this nasty dirty underwear. A juvenile little girl was at counter and didn't know what to do. But said SORRY. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Stayed at Algona Brookside to attend family event. Good stay for a fair price. Clean, comfortable, and decent breakfast. No issues.

While traveling w/husband on business, knowing he was leaving early for a business appt. 40 miles away & that I would be stranded in town for most of the day w/o a car.
I called the hotel ahead, explained my situation & inquired about holding my bags after check out until my husband returned to pick me up.
I planned to walk & do some local shopping downtown. Hostess was VERY accommodating & passed on the communication to next shift staff.
They volunteered & encouraged me to inquire the next morning w/staff about a late checkout if needed or preferred & without charging a fee.
They were totally agreeable to hold my bags for the day.
Also offered, if I wanted to lounge around in the lobby area, wait & relax, I was welcome to. I’M VERY IMPRESSED!!
The hotel decor is tastefully happy & inviting.
The room AND bathroom were spacious & SUPER CLEAN!
Beds, pillows & linens were “like new”, clean, soft & comfy.
The complementary breakfast was filling and tasty. A variety to choose from like: yogurt w/granola, cereals, waffle maker, eggs, sausage, tortillas (for breakfast burritos), juices, coffee, fresh fruit.
It was next door to a grocery store.
No gym on-site but will provide you free admission to attend a local gym in town.
No pool or hot tub. That was ok w/us.
WiFi free.
Location was on outskirts of town & quiet.
We enjoyed our stay & had an EXCELLENT night of rest.
Can’t beat the price or the 100% SUPURB customer service we had.
We WILL be back & Thank you!!
