WG Creole House 1850

Absolutely loved the house, our room was like my own bedroom, no white sheets or towels and the hostess melissa was fantastic, made us feel at home. The location was great as it was quite and a short walk to the street cars to take us to bourbon street and the dock for our dinner cruise, we managed to get parking 2 doors down

Where the tv was located it was at the side of the bed. Wasnt a big deal though as we didnt watch much tv.

This is the second time we stayed here. We love the charm of the house. The location is perfect for everything we wanted to experience in New Orleans. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in town and to the street cars, which in our experience is the best way to travel around the city. The housekeeper is so sweet and welcomed us back as if we were her family. The room was comfortable and spacious. We were able to park on the same street the house sits on as well.

The air conditioner had a hard time keeping our room cool, but it was so hot during our stay (upper 90s the whole trip). But really, no complaints, we will be back!

It would an all the things you want in a stay away from home and none of the things you don’t want or care for. The building is beautiful and charming. It still has the gas lights by the front door. It is also very close to St Charles street car and some interesting restaurants.

Nothing. Perhaps adding a microwave in the kitchen would be nice.

It was clean and comfortable. Ms. Melissa was there to greet us.

If we were given directions to get there we would have gotten off at Popeyes and walked over. GPS directions were misleading. If maps were provided about the trolley system that would have been helpful.
