Chris was great! The apartment was large, clean & comfortable. The location was perfect for me. It has a wonderful patio upfront. The area on Frankfort Ave was pretty, walkable and close to restaurants.

The only negative point was the front porch which was very cluttered. According to Chris, this is a work in progress getting ready for the Summer season.

Close to everything we needed. Felt safe and comfortable! Such a great neighborhood! Owner was warm and inviting and had great insight to good local things to do. He was very attentive and was available anytime to answer questions. Owner was seriously awesome! If we come back to Kentucky I hope to stay here again!!

Nice character, spacious and clean for the most part.As others reviewed, the Host was very available to any thing needed. The street did give an old charm feel.

My guests and I were completely turned off by the "renovations" happening on the front porch( see attached picture).Our stomachs dropped as it looked nothing like the picture on the booking site and we thought we had been scammed into renting an abandoned home. Even though the Host tried to explain what was going on, our expectations were just not met in that area. We also were not aware that the host lived on the property which kind of made it awkward. While he was friendly and gave concierge type service even assisting us with our bags, we would have preferred a bit more privacy to just check in and be to ourselves. When we thought we were getting settled in, he had to end up coming back because he forgot something in his fridge, once again disturbing our privacy. The complete turn off for me was the dog hair found in many areas. To the naked eye, you couldn't see it but because I have allergies and they were instantly fllurred up, I then found that it was on the couches, dining room chairs and even on the bedding and floor leaving my house slippers which I had to throw away covered in pet hair (see picture).Two things to note, when I mentioned this to the host, he did offer to come revaccum to correct this but again we just didn't want our privacy disturbed. Maybe I didn't pay attention to the details on the site that said it was a pet friendly stay which could have yielded pet hair being left from a previous stay but for spending over $200 for one night, I wasn't happy about having my stay interrupted by my allergies and traveling back with pet hair on my belongings. I also want to note that the host did all the cleaning on his own and had two spaces to clean which could have made it harder to give a more detailed clean. Edited to add after reading the response from the property owner:I expected to receive a rebuttal after reading other unfavorable reviews that you responded to that you didn't like and that is very unprofessional!
