Tropicals of Palm Beach

If you like old, quaint, charming- this place will tickle your fancy. Small kitchenette facilities are convenient. 3 block walk to the beach is fab. Pool area with open air covered patio is charming. Laundry room, work out room on site. Just be aware that the wifi is not always consistent and there are no chargers for tech/phones so bring your own. There is NO on site parking but valet at entrance can park your car on the street 2 blocks away. A dash board placard is required and given out by front desk. In season parking is extremely limited. Considering how markets, spa, houses of worship, restaurants, shops, beach, galleries are all within walking distance, u may want to consider a quick cab ride from the airport and skip the car if staying in season. Give this boutique style lodging a try. : )

A lovely old school hotel. Keep in mind this is an older hotel in the midst of major repairs and renovation. Nice that an old hotel like this still even exists in Palm Beach. Good central location, but I did miss being close to Worth Avenue. The trade off is the price and having a Publix supermarket right across the street. A huge perk! The faint mildew smell in the hotel is the only real negative thing I can report. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience!

The unit and location are amazing, both historically and culturally. Was a great experience. Parking is a problem, we got a $60 ticket for being parallel parked outside of the building. There are parking lots you can pay to park at but weren’t aware of them upon arrival. People managing the unit have no control over this, everything else was great!

My room was hot, no ac in bedroom just small one in living room. That makes me wonder why a lot of extra fan in bedroom.
