Great stay - and you can order a massage!

It is very nice. The breakfast was great and owner was super welcoming. The views are amazing - you can see Baker from another room which I consider coming back for. Also nearby was a nice Thai place.

There was some noise at night I suspect from heating? It was a little annoying. I am used to street noise living in the city but still. Also location is a little off. I stayed last time in a hotel which was right next to shops so maybe I got too spoiled. It’s a good ten min walk.

We had a very nice, quiet, and comfortable stay. Everything met our expectations.

We were greeted right away and found they had our keys and information ready so check-in was quick and easy. We were then shown around the main area so we would know what was available and what to expect in the morning for coffee and breakfast.

Great place for a romantic weekend

This place was perfect for my wedding anniversary weekend with my husband. The room was clean, had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was so nice to soak in and relax. The town is close enough to walk to, lots of shops and restaurants. Downstairs the inn was very welcoming, the dining area and sitting area was nice. Very quiet area, the bed was great, the fireplace made the room cozy, and I loved the robes. We can't wait to go back!

Lovely setting in boutique hotel

Location: day trip to Friday Harbor, e spent tri nights here. Clean and quaint. Plums available at check-in Furniture in the room/robes Warm breakfast with gluten free option 24/7 tea/coffee/cereal availability I love the classical music in the entry running constantly!

A/C didnt keep up with demand. I had it on the lowest setting (64°) for two nights, it didn’t keep up. The fan helped! Liquid soap containers should be switched out to ceramic (vs plastic). The shower curtain rod should be a wider option. The Guests above us in the room woke us up by being so loud (floors creaked and walls old/thin).

Very cozy, great location. Friendly staff. We had a misunderstanding when checking in but the manager was very nice and made it right.

One hour breakfast slot is a bit restrictive, especially on the weekend. We came down at 8:45am and they were already out of potatoes. Eggs Benedict were tasty and the bacon was delicious.

We we're SERVED the equivalent of a $60 breakfast, excluding tip, or say, $72 total, for two people. Exquisite high-end restraunt experience. No lunch needed that day due to this TWO COURSE BREAKFAST ... just a 6pm dinner.....so knock off another $72 and do the math: $144 in meal savings deducted from the lodging cost and you are getting like a 75% discount on the room cost.

That there wasn't time to get a second massage from May, who was exemplary!

The inn is a modern built craft style, lovingly maintained. the staff is superb, offering an excellent blend of service and privacy. The beds were comfortable and inviting while the breakfast surpassed all expectations. We are going back as soon as possible.

This is a very pleasant boutique hotel with welcoming staff and a nice breakfast.

Very nice corner room with a view on the third floor, small but adequate. Comfortable bed. The lounge on the first floor was very comfortable for reading and morning tea. Breakfast was very nice, and staff was friendly. The hotel is was very quiet, but that was due in part to our visit being on a weeknight. A 3:30 check in time was very convenient for us.

There was some confusion over the breakfast serving time, we requested 8:00 at check-in but an email was sent to us the evening before which we didn’t see until we were waiting downstairs the next morning. Breakfast at 8:30 is later than we prefer as we are early risers, but that’s just us.

Heron Inn Exceeds!

Attentive staff was helpful at every juncture. Despite the age of the building the amenities were all 5star including bath and the luxurious bed. The rich homestyle ambiance was exquisite with open trust in customers use of common areas. The spa, hot tub gazebo and delightful breakfast impressed. Everything about the Heron was detailed showing thoughtful care for our well being. Our stay was quiet.

Next door business operated an exhaust fan whose volume and frequency was annoying.

A very pleasant time.

The whole building was charming and the people friendly. The breakfast was ample, even for one avoiding eggs and meat.

There was too little surface space in the room for my pile of papers and other things out of the suitcase. Also the shower tub was slippery - could use a mat. The lack of an elevator should be up front, but it proved not to be a problem.
