Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

A comfortable room, the Staff are very accommodating. Courtyard features a pool and hot tub. Easy to find location, restaurants and bars located directly across the street. A breakfast bar available all day.

Palm Springs not much of a walking visitor town, you have to drive to get around. There are particular times of the year best to visit the Palm Springs area, summer is not one of them.

The personnel were exceptionally compassionate and polite: any of our concerns were fixed within a very short period of time. Continental breakfast was elaborate and fitted many dietary restrictions. Also, kitchen and coffee were available to use 24/7. Old fashion key entry was also handy for those who wished to avoid use of electronics on the Holy days

A few pieces of furniture required repair, we discovered it by accident trying to accommodate a couple of friends. It wasn't anything major so we didn't address that issue right away. We managed using it in its original configuration

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Always quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our arrival.

Sadly, this is really just a motel. We were disappointed that picture online make the property look more boutique-ish. Our room lacked any personality. White walls, stained cushions at the small dining table. A large room with nothing comfortable about it. Maybe place a loveseat at the foot of the bed? Bathroom had many issues - toilet flushed twice on its own, then continued to run for about 2 minutes before the water flow stopped. Shower didn't work properly - the mechanism to switch the faucet from tub to shower was jammed so it was half and half, standing in inches of water while trying to shower. In the morning, pipes moaned as the people above us showered. Breakfast was all prepackaged food - nothing fresh. We had just come from Phoenix at a Drury Inn where you were provided free dinner and drinks, hot breakfast for under $200 a night. This stay at $300 was a huge disappointment.
