About this villa rental
Casa Amaranto is a bright and cheerful villa surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps four people. It is approximately 90 square meters (970 square feet). It features a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in the seventeenth-century historic center of Meta di Sorrento. You will find the closest restaurant, a grocery store, the stop for the EAV bus Sorrento - Meta line at 400 meters (1300 feet) and the closest beach at roughly 800 meters (half a mile). You will reach Casa Amaranto from the parking area along a short walkway that is flat and has no stairway steps.
For a succesful stay at Casa Amaranto we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, for a fee, in a private parking lot. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. Please note that access to Casa Amaranto is along a narrow road.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: electricity; linens; towels. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 30.00.Available for a fee, if desired:parking, if reserved in advance EUR 5.00/day. Tourist tax, paid locally: From April 1 to October 31: EUR 2.00 per person per night for the first 7 nights. Guests aged under 18 are exempt.
Garden
The garden is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs.
Living Room
The furnishings of the living room are bright and cheerful. The furnishings include a sofa. There is a nice fireplace made of bricks, for decorative purposes only. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator without freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has four large panoramic windows overlooking the gardens of the surrounding houses.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). There is a nice fireplace made of bricks, for decorative purposes only. The furnishings include a desk. The room has a window with a view of the garden. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). There is a nice fireplace made of bricks, for decorative purposes only. The furnishings include a sofa. The room has a window with a view of the garden. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

We enjoyed Casa Amaranto very much.
The location is good as it is tucked away from the road along a track. Peaceful and a nice small garden at the front with a table and chairs Casa Amaranto is quirky and rustic, it provides for your basic needs.
Good sized bedrooms and most importantly comfortable beds. The living space is very open as there is a lot of glass but this makes it light and airy. No blinds/curtains in kitchen/dining/living area.
There is a small kitchenette providing a microwave, hob and fridge, it has a reasonable array of kitchenware and cutlery. A good sized functional bathroom.
Summer in Italy were extremely helpful. The information you provided before we arrived was great as it managed our expectations and avoided any disappointment. Your assistance arranging the parking and checkout time was much appreciated. All correspondence has been prompt, accurate, helpful and friendly. I will definitely be checking your site out again.

Das Haus ist von einem liebevoll angelegten Garten umgeben, auf den man vom Wohnzimmer aus schaut. Durch eine große Fensterfläche inclusive eines Oberlichtes ist es sehr hell und freundlich. Der Bungalow ist geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der nutzbare Gartenanteil ist lediglich vorne am Haus, der Gartenanteil, auf den man vom Wohnzimmer aus blickt, gehört zum Haus der Vermieter. Diese sind ausgesprochen angenehm, sehr freundlich, aber trotzdem diskret. Sie waren stets hilfreich zur Stelle und haben uns gute Tipps gegeben. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es recht kalt, aber dank einer gut funktionierenden Pellet-Heizung im Wohnzimmer war es zu ertragen. Unaufgefordert wurden wir von den Vermietern regelmäßig mit Pelletsäcken versorgt, was sehr schön war. Meta selber ist wie die gesamte Region sehr voll mit viel Verkehr und nur sehr schmalen Gehwegen. Das sorgt gerade in einem Urlaub mit Kindern für einen nicht unerheblichen Stress. Umso mehr ist Casa Amaranto eine grüne Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung. Lieben Dank an Maria und Salvatore, dass sie uns einen schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben!

We received a very warm welcome from Maria [the owner] who went through the essential tourist information with us and advised us against using our car.
