Judith Mountain Lodge

The location was wonderful! The encounters with both wildlife and other visitors were especially valued. It truly is a bit rustic which adds newness to those who can be accommodating.

I stayed in the Charlie Russell room and would have liked more air circulation since in the old log construction, no windows were placed. I left the door a bit ajar at night for cooler air. The bed was great. One more thing would be to have a shower mat on the floor since it can be slippery when stepping out of the tub.

The food was excellent--both dinner and breakfast. Common areas were great. Lovely location.

Minor mix ups and housekeeping needed a little work--not that it was unclean, but some missing towels and left over coffee in coffee maker. Easy fixes.

Nice, quiet place, surrounded by nature.

Door locks are minimal, window didn’t lock at all. Felt uncomfortable when we found a man standing outside our window at around midnight. The guy slinked away when he saw me peaking out the window shade. No reason for him to be there. We barricaded the door and window, still didn’t sleep much. They need to fix windows and door locks so the place can be properly secured. No staff on site to address it with till morning. This is a multi-unit and we believed we were the only persons there that night. Misunderstanding with staff.
