Proximity to airport and other amenities. Pretty grounds, pool, grills, etc were excellent. Amenities/condiments within condo were a nice touch. Excellent communication with owner. Value for the money was exceptional. Kitchen has all small appliances needed and natural gas cooking. We thought Kauai was laid back but Molokai topped it. A special place where locals aren’t just in it for a money grab. Dining out options are somewhat limited so a fully stocked kitchen was perfect.
People on the island were warm and friendly.
With only one road heading east/west traffic noise was constant until around 8pm. It’s all local traffic and 35mph limit which helped with sound.
Upstairs unit so multiple trips from car can be a challenge.
Upstairs tenants had multiple children and sound from walking and running was constant during daytime hours. After bedtime it was quiet.
Since many long term residents live in the complex, up close parking can be a challenge.
Island costs can be much higher than other islands due to limited shipping resources.

Nothing but people should be aware that Molokai is very different from other Hawaiian islands - not touristy at all

very quiet with beautiful views of the water from the balcony, comfortable bed and sofa, and very clean!

Convenient location. Grounds were well kept. Nice sunsets.
Road noise, roosters crowing at all hours of the night. No patio door window treatments- condo could get pretty hot. There were ants- unit needed spraying. Not enough hand towels and washcloths. Condo needed updating. With covid, many activities were closed.
