AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge

The amenities are great for extended stays. There are self service options: hydration stations, microwaves, laundry room for guests. Cleaning services are every other day or upon request. Alewife station is within walking distance. Staff are very accommodating and nice! Highly recommended for long stays!

The staff was very nice, especially the two people who were at the front desk for the first two nights we were there. The room had just about everything we needed to get by and the A/C worked well during a humid august stay. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Free coffee (that was actually good) in the lobby every day.

Our window was extremely dirty, so much so that it was gross to look out of. The bathroom was nice and clean but the shower water pressure should be a lot better in a newer hotel. There were not enough drawers - we had to put all our things on the long bench below the TV and it looked extremely messy. We requested a set of clean towels but they were never brought up to our room. I could see how this hotel would be great for business travelers but not ideal for a family vacation of more than a night or two.

Nice room and furnishings

Breakfast isn't worth the money. The waitress was very grumpy. No service whatsoever. Only cold food and almost nothing left at 10am even though it closed at 11am on Sunday. It claimed they would have fresh order eggs and bacon. They had none of that.

Good pruce

The room was not very clean, and housekeeping never cleaned our room during our three-night stay despite saying they would. The room faced a busy road, so it was quite noisy, and the air conditioning was not very effective. Overall, the price was good, but the service and room quality could be improved.
