Linville Falls Campground, RV Park, and Cabins

We have been staying there for 20 plus years. It is a tradition for our family. We love it during October.

Mattress in on room was terrible.

Wonderful campground that is very family friendly. The little cabin we stayed in was really nice. It was somewhat small but it was very clean and comfortable. The back porch is nice and allows for some privacy. The cabin had an outdoor cooking hut that was really enjoyable to prepare our food with a charcoal grill, a two burner gas stove top, and outdoor sink to wash dishes in. Will absolutely stay there again.

The cabin didn't have any air conditioning and even though in the mountains it was a little humid in the cabin. There are some trees next to the cabin that have a VERY sticky flower that gets everywhere.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Very close to Linville Falls and plenty of hiking. We have stayed at the Linville Falls national park on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the past, very rustic with no water or electricity. Linville Falls Campground and RV Park offer full RV hookups for a little more money!

The RV sites are very small. Parking can be an issue for the tow vehicle. Everything else was great!

Was tent & DIY CamperVan camping. Nice and close to Blue Ridge Parkway/ Linville Falls trail head and Linville Falls winery. Bathrooms new and clean. Nice hot showers. Host was very friendly.

Our site (deluxe tent site with water and electricity) was cramped and felt too exposed to neighboring cabin & other camping sites. Other dogs walking by our site and running/playing children in neighboring site triggered our dog several times. I’m not blaming them, but it would have been less of an issue if we were setback from the campground road instead of right next to it. In retrospect we should have chosen one of the more primitive camp sites which seemed more private.
