Perfect size for us and our teen daughter. Cozy, clean and comfy cabin that allowed us to fully appreciate Yosemite but return to a warm and relaxing shelter at night. Much nicer than basic cabins we have tried that are pricier.
The shower is very tight and it was difficult to figure out how the heater worked. No internet, but that was actually good for our teenager.

Erholung pur. Oben im kleinen Shop etwas holen. Und im Groceri Store im Besucherzentrum vom Yosemite nach dem Wanderm ein gutes Stake holen und ab auf den Grill vor dem Häuschen. Im Häuschen ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Es ist super rhuig. Grosser Kühlschrank. Gasherd, Mikrowelle... alles da. Zwei Grills vor dem Haus. 1x für Holz und 1x für Kohle.
Es ist wirklich klein. Mehr als zwei Personen gehen nicht. Das bett ist nur 1.6m breit. Wir haben getrennt geschlafen. Weil richtig bequem ist es zu zweit echt nicht mehr.
Die Ventilatoren vertragen mal eine Reinigung.

There is no phone service, but it’s generally so almost in the whole national park, use instead the wifi by lobby 😜

Camp pits were available however you have to get your own firewood.
There was a small creek near village.

Customer service could be better. We called the day before expecting someone to at least answer, but.noone answered the phone call. We wanted to Inquire few questions prior to checkin, such as letting them know if we had arrived an hour half earlier, what was the expectation.
There was not many occupied rooms and cabins were already available for checkin. Since we arrived an hour earlier than the 4pm checkin time, we were told there was a $30 early checkin fee required. That should have been courteous especially since rooms were available and we were just leaving one bin of food and two small bags and they had no other place we could drop it off. So we paid for the early checkin fee even though we did not come back to room til 8pm.
Then if we had any questions, we would have to call the number on the door. Hardly anyone would be there or having to wait for someone til they got in the front office.
Also the wifi is only reachable in the front desk portion and does not reach farther than there office. So NO wifi in the cabins.
The cabin bed was not comfortable at all just sunk into the bed.
Then we have to leave the room cleaned with the dishes done.
We.paid over 400 for 2 night stay for a cabin in mid-March. Where it was not busy at all they made it seem like they were extremely busy.
Customer service definitely can be more attentive to customer needs. So basically once yku checkin your simply on your own.
There are a few more lodges that come closer to yosemite valley as well. Possible would be worth it to pay a little extra and stay closer in the village area to save time of driving back and forth from and to the hotel.
