The room and the overall hotel were very modern and well-kept. Our room was on the river side, so it was nice and quiet. There are rooms on the highway side, which get a lot of traffic noise. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is not ideal unless you are in Hood River just to access the river for wind sports. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast fare. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. It was just edible.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. This was our second stay, and we will be back again.
Barn doors on hotel bathrooms need to end. This is not a trend that anyone enjoys. The breakfast was ok, but hotel breakfasts are never great. This was about as good as any, but still left me wishing I had decided to go out to a restaurant.

They were doing construction on the rooms above us that started at 8am with loud music, hammering, sawing and workers talking loud.
