Nice place and location. Big rooms with a nice charm and amenitites. THe location to food and stores was great and walking the area was a bonus.
The parking is nto great and expensive. THe exercise facility is a joke. Two machines, one not working and rusty weights all outside under a cabana. The ortuside part is fine, but not if it destroys the equipment!

Everything in room needed for a luxurious stay

It was very cozy hotel, equipped with kitchen, coffee machine, tableware, and shower with hose. You find Trader Joe’s and Target within walking distance. All staff were free and supportive. Uber comes within a few minutes.
Deluxe suite which I stayed didn’t have laundry machine. However, if you want to use laundry machine, the staff would manage to let you use vacant room’s laundry machine upon availability.

Friendly staff immaculately, clean room very comfortable bed
Everything was great
8.0 / 10.0
The location of the property is perfect close to Trader joe and lots of restaurants, it is also so cozy and feels like your own apartment, having laundry and dryer in unit is the best key point.
Event though the rooms are clean but Unfortunately the furnitures are old and teared, it is time to change them at least the Sofas!!! Also if they place a small toaster in units it will make their kitchen complete.
Btw the roof top needs some restoration and upgrades. It is beautiful though.

Friendly Front Desk Concierge
Helen and Hina at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. They even assist with receiving packages, making your stay more convenient.
Clean
The cleaning team is very diligent, keeping both the room and common areas neat and tidy.
Fantastic Location!
Just a 6–8 minute walk to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Ranch 99. Only a 10-minute drive to Century City, LA’s biggest mall.
Great for Long-Term Stays
The place has a full kitchen and a washing machine, making it super convenient and comfortable for extended stays.
The furniture is a bit outdated, and the mattress isn’t as comfortable as my last stay.

We love staying at this hotel. Our daughter lives in Westwood so it is very convenient for us.
Put Stevia in the rooms. No one uses Sweet and Low anymore and it's bad for you!

It was like an apartment. Small balcony. It was very quiet and relaxing. Eventhough it is older place, it has been kept up great and was very enjoyable.
Nothing.

last time we stayed in the signature queen suite. There was no sound whatsoever. This time we stayed in the standard suite, also very quiet but there was some movement upstairs. It faces the street, but very quiet. Very good quality construction.

Beautiful and very clean. Own private balcony, staff very nice , right across the street from Dennys. Close to UCLA. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

We have stayed here for several years. We like the location, and the room size. Unfortunately, the hotel has started to slip.
Towels are now thinner, “leather sofa” has started to peel. Closet light did not work, when we arrived safe deposit box was locked ( needed engineer), wake-up call was 20 min. late the first morning. Treadmill upstairs needs to be replaced with a new model. We understand Troy, one of the longtime receptionists was taking a long sabbatical, but would return. This is unfortunate as Troy added a degree of professionalism and graciousness
to Plaza La Reina, which in now missing.

Great location. Absolutely beautiful room, spacious and with a washer/dryer and kitchen.
No food service onsite.
8.0 / 10.0
Located in a safe and quiet area, close to UCLA, supermarkets and public transportation.
Fully equipped kitchenette, washing machine and dryer in the room were very convenient for the stay.
Room was spacious and comfortable.
Pricy for us.
Staff knocked and use key card to enter our room 7 O’clock in the morning! for phone check or something, and it happened again half an hour later, we were quite shocked.

I've stayed at this property several times while visiting UCLA Medical Center, which is within walking distance. This hotel is located in the charming village of Westwood in west LA. and has a gracious "old world" mediterranean appeal. The staff is equally gracious and accommodating. The surrounding area is fun to explore and offers diverse and unique shopping and dining options. The rooms are all spacious, with kitchenettes, and designed to feel more like a home than a hotel room. None of the pricey resort fees that are popping up lately.
The beds are large and comfortable, but we've had to also use the sofa beds at times, and I found them to be soft with not much support. I think they could also back off on the linens fragrance - smell like dryer sheets which I personally dislike. If you are particular about drinking water, be sure to bring your own. There is a Target / Trader Joes just down the street.

I have stayed here 2x before and love it. It's so charming - the center garden area is so cute. It's the perfect location, walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Parking on-site and for someone who uses Lyft, even though it's a busier road, there is a space for them to pick up and drop off (this part always stresses me out!). If you have trouble sleeping, I LOVE how the bedroom is away from the windows and gets completely dark. I love that there's a little step in the shower for shaving your legs too, it's the little details!! I will be back.
All was perfect except one thing: The door locks from the outside around 6pm which I think is quite early - other hotels I have been to, this starts at 10pm or so. This is not in a bad area whatsoever (it's quite nice actually) so not sure why it starts so early. Also when I checked in (appx 7-8pm) it was locked, so how am I supposed to check in?? You can see the front desk from outside and I was trying to signal and the woman (front desk staff) there was pretty nasty and said I couldn't pull on the door or it re-locks. How would I know? How else would we enter? A small sign on the door saying that would be helpful.

Spacious room with kitchentte, ample space to unpack and organize clothes, comfortable bathroom and even a little balcony.
I would have liked a small office space to conduct my few work sessions outside of our bedroom. Because of the hour difference I worked between 6-8 in the morning..... Also, there really isn't a gym other than the few dumbells on the rooftop.

The location and being so close to Westwood is very convenient. The design and the rooftop terrace is lovely. Bathroom was comfortable. The room was stocked and refreshed every day.
The room was smaller than we were expecting. Didn’t have a sofa/bed even though our booking said it would have. The exercise equipment or lack of it was a bit disappointing. Only very heavy weights and no exercise mats.

Very good spacious rooms, clean and overall very good hotel
Only negative I can say - is that when I arrived, the previous guests trash was still in the trash can under the sink.

Well - furnished room. Good location in Westwood. I stayed in a loft room.
Cobwebs in room. Room deserves a king size bed. Aircon operational unit is poorly situated behind the bed and makes a gurgling noise. Musty smell. My wife was denied a room card. even though she had her ID. meaning a 20 - minute wait until I could get to the room.

The rooms offer a kitchen plus washer and dryer in your room. I love the Spanish architecture.
10.0 / 10.0
The configuration of the bedroom was excellent as it was partitioned between living room and bathroom, so will not be disturbed by sunlight. Also the linen bedding was so soft that I didn't want to leave. The hotel is very quiet as if no one is living in it but all the rooms are full.
The parking lot was very empty. wish I knew about the overnight parking on campus and near Target.

Beautiful grounds. Beautifully furnished, massive room. Gorgeous, large bathroom. I even used the Bosch washer-dryer set, Perfect location in the heart of Westwood. This is really a 4+ star star hotel.
Nothing really. It was a great stay. I guess it would have been nice if they gave me a full box of tissues as I ran out after just a few tissues. No big deal.

Daughter was unconfortable on the fold out bed. A litttle pricey when you add the $40 for parking.

Had a wonderful stay at this facility over the weekend. The location is just perfect if you are planning activities in West Hollywod or Westwood. The staff was great, especially shoutout to Hina at front desk who was awesome and helped us with our requests. Don't foerget to explore the terrace on the 6th flr :).

Some at customer service could be improved. We also noticed the faucet has no water pressure, and should be addressed soon.

Location; terrific staff; fridge, microwave, dishes and silverware in room; quiet, beautiful old-world charm rooms; close to Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center; and safe, reasonably priced underground parking.
9.0 / 10.0
The hotel and staff were wonderful - the bathroom was stocked with mini shampoos, a shower cap, a small button re-fixturing/fabric mending packet, as well as a bath robe and two shower head heights which was really nice.
The kitchen came fully stocked, including with a small dishwasher and dish soap. Pots, pans, collendar, cooking and eating utensils, mini fridge, microwave, cups, bowls… it had basically everything.
There was also an in-unit washer/dryer (stacked, separate!) with laundry detergent and a nicely sized closet, ironing board, and a safe. I can’t remember if it was also stocked with an iron, but I imagine it was.
The parking is really expensive ($45/night) but parking is also an upside. There was street parking as an option as well that would have been FAR cheaper, but then you don’t get the benefit of the private garage, so you just have to pick your battle and decide what you really prefer: security or affordability. The parking spaces are a little small (but I parked on first-level compact parking) that level was pretty well lit.

I had a wonderful stay at Plaza La Reina. The suite was very spacious, and the in-room washer, dryer, and fully equipped kitchen made it especially convenient for a medium- to long-term stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring great rest every night.
The location is also fantastic — just a short drive to the Getty Center, and within a 4–6 minute walk you’ll find Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, 99 Ranch Market, CVS, and plenty of great restaurant options. It truly made everyday living easy and enjoyable.
What impressed me the most was the service. Whether it was Helen and Troy at the front desk during the day, Johnny at night, or the housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. They were always ready to assist right away and truly put themselves in the guests’ shoes.
Overall, the level of service here exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Plaza La Reina to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.
The furniture is elegant and well-appointed; only a couple of the leather surfaces showed a bit of wear and could use some maintenance.

Location!
Practically across from the Hammer Museum (I went there 3x) and walking distance to Westwood shops, dining, UCLA.
Great staff service!
Room is beautiful!
Quality high end finishes, luxury touches, remodeled, and kitchenette and washer/dryer.
Spanish hacienda style (my personal fave).
Very comfortable bed.
Rooftop patio is peaceful for reading, morning coffee, sunning.
Great location for quick Lyft/Uber to...LACMA, Century City, Beverly Hills, Sta Monica Pier, Venice Beach
Only issue is that by design of place, can hear (at times feel) people above you..walking (!) At one point in the evening, the traffic above would make my living room walls SHAKE!
It can be disturbing to your peace. Staff offered to reach out to persons above to keep quiet. But I feel it's a design challenge / flaw vs the other hotel guests.
No natural sunlight in my room.
Windows faced a parking garage/concrete building, but it was still private and we would spend our days sightseeing.

I stayed here with family for 25 nights. The small hotel is beautiful, friendly and attentive staff and close to UCLA.
We have total 3 persons and third person needs to sleep on rollaway bed, the rollaway bed is too too soft and our back hurts after 25 nights (me and my daughter rotated to sleep on it) staff tried to add one more mattress for us but it didn’t work still too too soft, we sank in the bed when we slept on it.

great staff, beautiful room #205, charming hotel.
parking charge $44/day so I didn't do that, instead just moved my car every 2 hours.

Location was excellent near Westwood Village, close to cafes cinema, grocery shopping. Area felt safe to walk around.
Decor and architecture beautiful, in Spanish or Moroccan style. Reception staff, particularly Helen were helpful and welcoming.
Small kitchenette was useful, although no sharp knife for cutting vegetables, also a bit light on kitchen equipment.
10.0 / 10.0
The staff were exceptional. Helpful and friendly at all times. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We cooked breakfast every day and it is so nice to heave everything you need. Trader Joe's is a 5-6 minute walk away. The location is incredible if you want to be in the heart of Westwood and near UCLA. We also used their parking which was very secure and convenient. The hotel is a little pricey but really you are renting the equivalent of a small apartment with daily service in the heart of Westwood.
We love the small second floor courtyard. It would be nice to have a few bistro tables out there so you don't have to go to the roof for outdoor seating.
