Worth it

I read the reviews for this motel before I booked and they sounded pretty bleak but it was an affordable option not near as bad as what some of the reviews made it sound like it's not a terrible neighborhood it's not in a great neighborhood it's just a freaking neighborhood the staff was nice it wasn't loud the rooms are not very up to date but they weren't terrible I would stay there again

The shower in our room was extremely small.... like comically small

I reserved a room months in advance to show up and be told you were overbooked. Then I got charged a fee even though I never stayed there due to no fault of my own. When I tried to call the hotel to get this fixed the person who answered after several attempts was rude and told me to contact booking.com. I'm still trying to get this resolved.

People were amazing but it’s a big palace!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful!!

The room was in bad condition. There was dead and living roaches in the drawers and crawling on the walls and bed! The bathroom had tiles that spewed out some fluid and smelled badly like urine!! The light fixtures had lots of roach bodies inside them and a staff member said “ Yeah this whole place has bugs! If you removed them the building may fall!”.

Only choice we had

Everything was dirty, scary, not safe, had people in the back ally doing sketchy things. Police were on site when we arrived, my daughter and I both had major panic attacks first night there, didn’t sleep at all. The trash is piles up for 3 weeks in back of building. The list goes on, the staff was pretty nice though considering everything they had to deal with. This property needs much rehabilitation.

How big and very clean my room were, staff mind their business and easy to get along with. They have a strong security which allows me to feel safe since I'm currently pregnant. They have a laundry room which is very convenient.

Just the free bar a soap and less plug ins BUT these aren't the end of the world.

Had to pulled in/ not backed in so cops can see the plate of my car??? Didn’t realize that the area was druggie infested before I arrived for my stay. Staff were really nice but I felt unsafe the entire night.

Location.

The television did not work and also the microwave. The microwave plug to the wall was slack and that could be an electrical fire hazard I reported it to the front desk and they promised to have them regularised. Up to the time of departure no one came to do so. The microwave had no turntable and smelled awful. PLEASE NOTE THAT I WAS CHARGED EXTRA FOR THREE NIGHTS WHICH WAS NOT WHAT YOU QUOTED. THE HOTEL SAID Booking.com gave us the wrong rate. PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU WILL BE GIVING A REBATE.

Not A Good Stay

Friendly front desk person.

Our room was in very bad condition. They refused to switch us to another room. The room had dead cockroach shells on the shelf. The lamp didn't work. Trash was left under the bed. The microwave wasn't clean, and someone left a soda in the refrigerator. The bathroom smelled and had urine stains around the floor; the internet didn't work; we had one towel, one pillow; and the furniture was dirty and damaged. The bedspread had burn holes the size of a quarter in it. Someone was arguing and fighting in the room next to ours. We never saw security.

I didn't like anything about this place

This has to be one of the nastiest motels in Louisville. I don't even know where to begin concerning our complaint. They said they couldn't find our booking reservation, so we had to pay the full price. The room was so dirty and nasty, we left! How in the world can a place like this be open to the public? I'm willing to bet that the owners stay in nice houses while they get rich off of renting dirty, nasty, and gross rooms. Beware of your surroundings while staying here. There are a lot of drug addicts walking around and even staying there.

Bad, Bad, Bad!

The place is bad and extremely dirty!!! Beware of the fake positive reviews. We had to contact Bookings for a full refund! Also, a man on the property told us the male manager has been arrested multiple times in the past for serious crimes, he was featured on the local news, and the entire motel has problems passing Health Inspections. Wow!!!!

It's a crap hole of a place. Nothing was clean. Very awful and disturbing to be a motel. Their rates are cheap for a reason. I bet the owners live in nice houses, while they make money off of running a nasty, trashy, ghetto dump.

Awful place and bad area

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! I wished I would have read all of the reviews before staying at that place. It should be condemned! The rooms are not fit for anyone to stay in. Poor management, poor room condition, dirty parking lot, and a parking lot full of drug dealers and users, coming and going. A lot of foot traffic and activity with doors being slammed every other minute, and people arguing and yelling at each other. Loud music coming from different rooms. The rooms are not being cleaned and trash was left behind our door. Only one pillow on our bed and dirt and grime around the toilet. The shower rod was just hanging on top of the shower area. The shower was not cleaned. We refused to use the shower. When you turned on the AC vent dust came out. The sheets on the bed were yellow, we used our own blanket to sleep on. Staff was eating food behind the counter and flying gnats were flying around the food. The staff person with the missing teeth was mean and rude.
