The staff was very friendly and we liked parking close to our room. Although dated, the room was very clean and comfortable.

The location is good and the room was clean. The sad part is that the folks operating the property don't understand the value of friendly service. This place is on historic Route 66. People expect a better experience than some grumpy desk clerk. They want to see things that relate to the Mother Road. There's a heritage that should be shared. People come from all over the world to travel 66 and they should be treated well.
A poor greeting when I walked into the office. I felt like I was imposing on the clerk.
