Heaven on Washington Fully Furnished Apartments

Amazing location, could not be better for a short trip to DC. It was so hot we could barely walk anywhere, and if this hadn't been so close to the Mall we would have truly struggled to do much. As it was, we had a great trip. Excellent place. Had a couple questions/issues and the response time from the hosts was fantastic.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Pool, gym and terrace to enjoy. Concierge service was excellent.

The only thing, and it is minor, was the mattress in the main bedroom was uncomfortable

Great location. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Walking distance to many monuments and easy access to public transportation.

Spacious apartment and location

The apartment's location and amenities were good, but our stay was significantly affected by a serious issue: on our second night, we found a mouse inside the living room at 3:15 am. We caught and removed it ourselves and reported it immediately through Booking's chat, requesting an immediate unit change, which was not provided. The host's staff minimized the situation from the start, questioning whether it had actually been a mouse. We authorized them to access the apartment during the day while we were out, and they reportedly conducted an inspection claiming they found no signs of rodent activity. They then told us pest control would carry out a further inspection at our check-out. They later described the case as "isolated," without further acknowledgment. There was also an attempt to reach us via WhatsApp, but our official communication throughout was through Booking, as is standard for this platform. We never received a direct response from the host regarding our request for compensation — all communication came through staff, and the matter was left unresolved on their end. A rodent in a living space is a health and safety concern, not a minor inconvenience, and the lack of direct accountability from the host, along with their repeated attempts to downplay and cast doubt on what we reported, was disappointing. We would not book with this host again.
