We stayed 1 night in Lachis Hotel and I don’t have anything to complain about. The staff were very nice and the location amazing. I was very happy about the parking lot!
I would stay there again, if I visit Brattleboro again.

I thought the place was pretty dumpy. Not remodeled or restored, maybe a fresh coat of paint, but looked like 40+ year-old carpeting. It was clean though. Very noisy inside due to echos of every little sound made in the hallways reverberating off the cinder blocks walls inside the hotel. Sounded like being inside a prison. Around 11:00pm, it sounded like someone was walking through the hallways on every floor and slamming all the doors. Also a lot of noise from the outside - the inner storm window was single pane (and outer old window was broken). I’m 50 but was told in a scolding manner like I was a child by the woman who checked me in that I better not smoke in the room ($500 fine), or lose the key ($50 fine), and if I didn’t like the temperature in the room, too bad, but there’s blanket and a fan. Vagrants lurking around in the parking lot at night. I rarely take the time to write a bad review but this place was pretty disappointing and way overpriced for what you’re getting.
