Location was great. Upon checking into room, we were met by a heavy smell of stale smoke. They asked us to vacate room for an hour while they brought in an “air cleaner”. Room still didn’t smell great upon returning but was better. We later discovered brown stains on the comforter and top sheet of one of the beds which leads us to believe these were not changed and were told by front desk staff we could pick up linen at the front desk and change it ourselves. The pool was also closed for our stay which was disappointing for my daughter and we weren’t made aware until I inquired about needing a wrist band and was told it wouldn’t be necessary. I had high hopes for this stay and was very disappointed.

The grounds themselves are beautiful! The location was great but it seemed overpriced for this level of hotel. Our room had obviously not been swept and there was a dirty soap in the shower (with a little hair on it!!! ) I stayed in five different beach hotels leading up to this one on my vacation; i know to expect a certain amount of sand on the floors, but this was obviously unswept. I liked the place, but for nearly ***/night and the cleanliness level, I would expect a little bit better.
