We arrived around 5:45pm preregistered told them We would be there around that time. We went to celebrate wedding anniversary go to the concert at the golf course, room was not ready still being cleaned told us she was just wiping down then she had to vacuum had to wait 30 mins and we had just drove hrs to get there. Next day room cards would not work got told it’s because we are checking out an hr after checkout even though we had TWO nights and not leaving.

Absolute perfect setting for my Girls Retreat

I loved the borrow bikes! And the 24 hr tea/ coffee was amazing, as was the cozy lobby to congregate with our party. We also loved the fireplaces in the room! The bathrooms were HUGE and dreamy!

The rooms were just a little musty smelling. But not a deal breaker.

Comfortable -entrance through a lobby and access to an inside sitting area. Quiet and near Avila Beach and SLO and Pismo!

A deli on site which was nice but missed having a restaurant near by for a table service meal.

Worth considering.

Location was well within the public hot springs as well as being near the beach. Enjoyed the trail to the golf course. The trail was located just outside the hotel premises. Cozy fireplace area nearest the lobby.

Wish there was at least a hot tub. No microwave

Don’t stay here if you don’t want to pay for the pool

New room was nice

That you have to pay to use the pool. They were charging us $180 for my family of 5 to use the pool. We stayed here before and didn’t have to pay to use the pool. I wouldn’t have booked here if I would’ve known the pool is not included w your stay anymore.

Beautiful place to stay, hope to visit again!

The room was fresh and clean. Lots of families and people using the walking path behind rooms. Coffee bar and deli on site was delicious! Room service would be amazing!

There was a couple having an argument in their room and you could hear everything very clearly while waiting for the elevator to go to our room. Not the best sound proofing or privacy.

Close to where we were going. Beautiful location. It felt like a Tahoe cabin, warm & welcoming.

The room showed signs of aging. The fireplace wasn’t working properly & they said they would send someone to fix it…never happened. It lacked what I would call customer satisfaction.

The beauty and tranquility of the hotel was a surprise being so close to downtown Avila Beach

The beauty and tranquility of the hotel was a surprise being so close to the hustle and bustle of Avila beach. It felt like we were far away and secluded. But we were only 2 minutes from Avila beach. Additionally, having the Avila Beach Athletic club as part of the property was another surprise. The girls enjoyed a spa day while me and my buddy played golf. We are planning to return soon, but next time we will be in my Ferrari.

My only request, add USB connection in the room. There were none.

It was fresh-coffee was great and location was perfect-just a short walk down the path from our toom

We were told our room was not dog friendly but when we got there we saw people coming out of their room with a dog…we were also told that the bikes had to be reserved but then were told they were first come first serve after waiting for an hour we were able to take the bikes out! Your conceirge was very apologetic and gave us a bottle of wine for the mixup and we thought that was excellent customer service. I work in hospitality and that simple gesture turned the whole experience around for a positive outcome

The walking trail behind the Inn. Bikes available but I wasn't able to use one. Love the beautiful trees surrounding the area.

Toilet was too low to the bathroom room floor. Made it very hard to get up. We would greet one of the front desk clerks on the afternoon shift and get snubbed. Not an Inn we want to return to.

Quiet and spacious room

The gentleman at the front was very helpful and the room was spacious. There was a bath tub in our room but the tub faucet didn’t work so we had to fill it with shower water, which filled it slower and with water cooler than I would have preferred, but overall, the room was quiet, clean, and spacious. There was a fireplace and fridge in the room too, which was nice. The property sits next to a great biking trail and there is a market within very easy walking distance.

The location of the facility is nice - the hotel should be remodeled .

The facility is old with old carpets which smelled like dust -the first night there was drainage issues in the tub, making us unable to take showers, and they were not able to change the room until the next day, even though we had requested a room with a walk in shower when making the reservation …there was also construction noise was present in the morning.,,, They hotel waved the $30 resorts fee and asked us to request the reimbursement from booking.com.

Dated property with lack of amenities

The staff were so welcoming and made our experience pleasant!

There was a lot of construction and most amenities did not exist in the hotel itself and you had to leave the hotel and room to obtain items. The room was dated, fireplace did not work well and the heater kicked on all night even though we did not have it on. It was quiet but missed the ocean sounds.

Breakfast wasn't included. We enjoyed the spa room! we where told that the hotel was in the process of adding more rooms and that the main hotel was going to be remodled. We are happy to hear that because it does need it.

Best Romantic experience

The room was extremely inviting and clean. The privacy of the room along with the hot tub was a bonus. We felt comfortable and your front personal was very welcoming and helpful. Definitely will recommend it and try to come back again in the future.
