Courtyard by Marriott Muncie at Horizon Convention Center

It was decently clean.

I checked in after midnight. The automatic door wouldn't open and there was no sign on the door stating to pick up the phone on the wall. Instead, the man at the front desk finally motioned to the left corner behind the luggage carts. I picked up and was able to tell him I had a reservation and gave him my name. He opened the door and I got checked in successfully. I asked where to park and he told me to 'hug the building' until I get to the parking structure and I could park anywhere in the structure for free. Our room was on the 3rd floor so naturally we parked on the 3rd floor. Get out, get all the luggage out.. And the elevator was off. Drove down to the next level.. Same thing.. Elevator was off. I was mad at this point and just drug our suitcases down a flight of stairs. Had to still cross a street with our luggage to even enter the hotel.. Not fun in 30 degree weather. Get in the room and settling down to go to sleep, and pull the sofa bed out only to scour the whole room and realize there was no sheets for the sofa bed. Thankfully the king bed had plenty of flat sheets on top so I was able to take one off and wrap it around the mattress to the sofa bed and luckily we had brought an extra blanket and pillow of our own. I figured since the front desk employee didn't offer any extra information to us about the elevators in the structure not working that it would have been a waste of time to ask about extra sheets for the sofa bed. I will NOT stay here again.

There was a dry, dirty/used wash cloth hanging at the top of the shower curtain. The bed skirts were wrinkled and pooled on the sides and foots of the bed. It’s hard to explain. I do have pictures attached below.

The location was great for what I needed.

the room was clean. the bed was comfortable

there was no complimentary drinking water inside the room to be able to at least drink the complimentary coffee.

The property was nice but the room had a part of the ceiling kept falling down so we had to get transferred to another room and by that time it was 3am couldn’t get to sleep so checked at 3:30 am I

The rooms have been renovated. The staff is very nice. Parking in the garage is included and convenient.

The bathroom could include a makeup lighted mirror. The price was rather expensive.
