Had a great experience at Foundre. Very nice staff and clean hotel. Lobby smelled amazging!

The kids and I explored and loved the surrounding area. We at at The Church took trolly to Mortgage Center for a concert. It was a great stay and staff were friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.

Being the Fourth of July weekend I thought everyone would be bothered working but everyone was super nice and helpful!

Actually booked 2x 1-night stays and the hotel was in a good location for downtown Phoenix. Has a nice enough bar, lobby and restaurant. Good vibe. Some funky art on the walls. Rooms lacked a lot of what they said they had. No ammenties, actually I lie, there was soap. Pillows were horrible, yep, all 4 of them, cheap and lumpy. Bed was a bit too soft for my liking but some might find it nice. The toilet ran after flushing, had to dismantle by taking off the lid to stop it running. There was no kettle, which was a bit weird. I did ask for one and the front desk wasnt sure they had one. None arrived, so i guess they dont have kettles. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didnt work. I noted the issues and the receptionist wrote it down on a scrap of paper next to the front desk but nothing came of it. in my particular room there were liquid stains on the roof, like someone had popped pink champagne and sprayed the roof by mistake, not a great look. the blockout blinds dont close all the way so expect a searing ray of sunlight in your eyeball 3hrs before you actually wanted to wake up each morning. A lot of door banging and wall knocking early in the morning. could be guests leaving or could be cleaners, either way, it was super annoying-both days! Checkout is at 1100 and at exactly 1059 "Guest Services" knocked on my door to ask if i was checking out...not a single minute more. Upon checkout I was charged for a "Destination Tax". I pointed out that the amount i paid on Agoda included all taxes and fees (and actually stated a "Surcharge" which was coincidentally the same amount as the hotel "Destination Tax" but they wouldnt budge and so i got hit with a second surcharge by the hotel. Ive never heard of a Destination Tax so i asked what it was and they said "for the facilities and incidentals" and i told them i didnt use the facilities (i assume there is a gym and pool) and i didnt have a mini bar in my room and they said "well, maybe you should have used the facilities because you get charged for them regardless" I did have 2x bottles of complimentary water in my room which were replaced each day and the receptionist pointed out these were the incidentals. i noted i didnt drink the waters and againw as told "well you should have" I have never been to a hotel which charges an additional fee because there is a pool or gym on the premesis, or "complimentary" water in your room. when you book a hotel usually the total price covers your total stay in the hotel. overall it was an ok hotel with poor service and operations and some below average staff. pretty confusing and disappointing stay
