Cozy place to stay close the charming village.

It's an older motel that has been updated into hipster cool. I really liked the beds and found them very comfortable. The room is very spacious and the village is a couple of blocks away. Very nice helpful staff and pleasantly accommodating guests.

Shower head was super low for anyone 6 ft or more. The internet was pretty much unusable and there were very few guests so I can't imagine what it would be like in the high season.

Great service, nice ammenities and lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms. We loved the easy walk to the restaurant Cafe Rustica around the corner. We had a great night sleep and would love to stay again!

Kala, the innkeeper, was extremely helpful in forwarding my medication I forgot in the room. I don't now what I would have done without her professional help. The room was very clean and quiet.

Comfortable and fabulous!

An enchanting, unique experience. The location and grounds come together to make this magical. Fresh, original decor is uplifting. Airy, with awesome views. So tastefully appointed, the room was extremely comfortable including the ultrapadded carpet. Management truly wonderful. Incredible price. The best bed I've slept in as far back as I can remember. I can't wait to return and stay much longer.

This place lacks maintenance and feels abandoned. The room had an unpleasant smell, the carpet was dirty, some towels were stained, the patio was dusty, the pool was full of leaves. On top of that they charged us 400$ per night! Steer clear and find a proper place.

Everything was great … the room and atmosphere and the distance to the activities we wanted to do.

The location is wonderful with the mountains surrounding you and waking up to that view is perfect. Seeing the deer crossing in between mountains was also neat !

Great gathering spot for families and friends that want to feel like home away from home

We stayed at this hotel for our son's wedding at the Bernardaus. We had 4 of the 18 rooms. I just wish more family and friends would have stayed at this same location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of space throughout the property for our group to gather and relax and spend time together. The Innkeeper, Ben was generous and genuinely warm, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed including special greetings from Trooper the property dog made it even more homey. It was a wonderful experience and we're so grateful to have had such a welcoming place to stay during such a special time.

Lovely inn in a quiet location close to wine tasting venues and good restaurants

The lady who runs the inn was very friendly and helpful. This was an accidental discovery of a lovely location out in the country with plenty of wine tasting venues and good food nearby. The dark sky at night was great for stargazing and it was a convenient drive to Big Sur. we booked two rooms at the last minute due to a change in travel plans and the newly redecorated rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the stay.

The landscape around on the property was lovely. The staff was nice and accommodating. The coffee was delicious (once we added our own half and half). The croissants in the morning were a nice surprise. Filtered water was available in the lobby. The property is just a few blocks from town .The beds were comfortable.

The carpet in the room was worn and stained. The bathroom was worn out looking and needs to be upgraded. The hot tub was out of service.
