It was a great location. It’s a beautiful place, the amenities are such a bonus. I would highly recommend this property.

The doors have a big gap so you can hear everything going on in the hallway. It was very loud when doors slammed shut. May be worth investing in quieter doors.

Easy access to highway

Where to begin? Beds uncomfortable, staff unhelpful, everything felt used, grimy, or didn’t smell good. The rugs really particularly were nasty, and there was not much attention to detail in terms of keeping up the condition of things. The amount they wanted to charge for breakfast with the room was absurd, given the quality of the food. There is no complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby at any time. When we asked about whether there’s coffee in the lobby for guests, they said oh we provide free coffee in your rooms. That coffee was absolute weak crap. And then the coffee you had to pay for from the restaurant was horrible. Weak. This is very clearly a price driven—as in cutting quality at every turn— operation. We travel a lot, and this was really outstanding as an unpleasant experience.

Great place overall!!

Beautiful facility!! Beds were comfortable and we are picky with comfort at our age! We checked out the pool and hot tub area although didn't have time to enjoy. One of the nicest I've seen in a long time! We typically stay in Hilton Hotels only. This will be our go to spot for visiting our U of M student.

Our room had a slider door which didn't face outdoors. It faced a hallway going to the restaurant. We didn't feel comfortable opening the curtain, so wasn't as bright as we would have liked for daytime hours. We booked one night, and loved the comfort so much we booked a second night.

Nice stay

Beautiful hotel. The pool is unbelievable for a hotel in my opinion. Staff very friendly, quick check in with a free glass of champagne offered. Adequate space to park and check in. Excellent beds, amenities and cable. The patios and outdoor spaces are beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing I didn't like. Maybe a sign for pools and patio in the lobby. I may have just not seen them too. That's more of a suggestion though.

The room was nice - it was nice to have an outside balcony. Pool was great - liked a hotel pool with a deep end. Breakfast was reasonable and tasty. Especially liked the comfortable beds and pillows. Best pillows of any hotel I have stayed in.

We spent most of our days at the U of M Hospital. Our host for our stay where William and cade. They were very polite an

Property was clean inside and out. It has good furniture. Beds were very comfortable. AC and heater worked efficiently.

The physical fitness room was not open during our stay, but we could have used the one next-door. We did not because it was just inconvenient. I did not see a notification on the website concerning the closure of the physical fitness room nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

It was very nice

The toilet is far too low and I requested handicapped consideration and had walk a long way to get to the room. There was a wedding there so I guess the front desk staff were too busy. I as misinformed about breakfast. I understood we were to have complimentary breakfast with the room but instead I had to pay for the buffet. Total lack of communication

Well run and beautiful hotel

Loved restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Loved getting served a glass of champaign at check-in. Location good, walking distance to mall and lots of options for eating within walking distance.

Loved our stay, cool & quiet bedroom, hot shower, friendly staff

Stayed 3 nights and were so impressed with the value of what we experienced/received. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and offered a champagne to toast - how cool is that? We were on the second floor and had a private greenery view facing the interstate (which wasn't that loud), honestly it was very quiet the whole stay and we enjoyed the blackout curtains at night. We appreciated the coffee/tea in the room, the fridge/microwave, and tv - not smart. Housekeeping came by each day.

My only recommendations would be to add a shelf beneath the sink for storing items, and get new pillows.

An excellent stay!!

I loved the Kensington. It was very well maintained and the restaurant was a special feature that we ended up using several times and each time, the food was a pleasant surprise. It was obviously crafted by someone that wanted diners to feel special. Everyone throughout the hotel was so kind and helpful. We signed up for the extra option of a super late check out for an added fee and that worked out very well because we were for a sporting event and needed to shower before getting on the road back home.

There was ample parking except for one day when there was a wedding.

Rude and Ridiculous!

I love the hotel and most of the staff. However, the lady who checked me in is in dire need of a professional etiquette class.

The check-in clerk was the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have ever come across... I am 51. She really treated me like I couldn't afford to be there. She didn't do her due diligence. She abandoned the process, and didn't even offer my glass of champagne. I had to ask her for it. She would have definitely found a reason not to give it had it not been for the other clerk offering champagne in the close proximity. Let's not talk about running the card on file without permission to charge for dinner attached to my room that I hadn't checked out of. My initial visit here was amazing. However, this crew was beyond racist and classist. Which is sad, because the check in clerk was black. They'll never get my business again and I am definitely going to update and change my review on Google.

Conveniently located. Staff are very welcoming and offer complimentary champagne at check in. Pool and sauna are nice! Overall everything was clean.

Our room was on the first floor. There was a sliding glass door in the back of our room leading to some hallway- my guess is towards the courtyard or pool- but it was locked with a bar (kinda creepy lol). Our room was extremely humid despite having control of the thermostat. Overall the room felt dingy and uncomfortable. My friends stayed on a different floor and enjoyed their stay a bit more.

The stay place was good

The place was really good but what makes the place better is people the staff was very judgmental and the way they looked at me looked racially bad ! I will take it for now but not again ! If i were there at a position where i can bring change i would definitely take care of such things being judgmental towards anyone is not a good sign of human nature !
