I had a really good stay at Samesun Hollywood! The location is honestly amazing—right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and within walking distance of so many attractions. For a hostel in this location at this price in Los Angeles, I really can’t complain. I especially liked the front desk staff, who were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were also nice overall, except for one small experience when I needed to use the kitchen about 30 minutes before closing. One staff member seemed a little unhappy because they had already started cleaning, even though the kitchen was technically still open. The hostel also had good security, which I really appreciated and made me feel comfortable during my stay. Breakfast was basic, but for a hostel, it was actually better than I expected and a nice addition. I was also lucky to have quiet roommates, which made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, Samesun Hollywood offers excellent value considering the location, price, security, and facilities. I had a very good experience and would happily stay here again!

Location Location Location. Directly across the street from the metro subway station, and the center of Hollywood Boulevard. Everything is within walking distance from here.

The hostel is a bit expensive. There are stairs everywhere. Few toilets and shower stalls. Breakfast is monotonous. Also, my body started itching after 5 nights there — I'm not sure if it's bedbug bites, but I'd like to think it's not. There's a strong, terrible smell of cleaning product in the bathroom all the time. But the location is great, of course. The beds are very uncomfortable.
