The sausage gravy is awesome had fresh fruit and other health options. The staff was friendly and informative. The rooms was clean and comfortable the water was great piping hot. Checkout was quick and easy.

The food could have been better. A little over cooked and a little under seasoned. Although there was a variety of different options. Other than that was family and pets friendly.

Location

The staff lied to us about the room stating our double queen accessible room had roll in shower several weeks before our reservation. The day of check in after too late to cancel they inform us there is no roll in shower, they refuse reimbursement and offer a small 1 bed suite too small to navigate a walker or wheel chair in. In Double Queen room you have to climb into bathtub to take a shower. Also, We checked ahead to see if can get help with luggage due to 1 being on a walker and other 89 with back pain and arthritis. On phone they said it would be possible, which was totally false. After checking in the staff informed they are Not Allowed to help anyone with luggage, so we were stuck in the lobby without a way to get luggage from car to room. After a while, An off duty employee decided to help us. On Christmas night we had to get some heavy items out of cold car to room so cold wouldnt ruin them. The young man at the desk refused to help, forcing an 89 year lady with servere back pain and arthritis to haul Tolley and loading it and get to room by herself. He just watched her suffer stating they are not allowed to help even inside the hotel, even an 89 year old lady, on Christmas Day. Is outright Elder abuse . Anyone with disabilities or physical impairments who are not able to haul all their luggage and shower in a standard bathtub should NOT consider this hotel. Title III ADA seems in question - they force disabled elderly to haul trolleys and luggage. They outright refuse to help inside or outside (Even on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

All in all it was a good place to base out of for all the things I did in 3 days.

It was quiet. Access to room from other outside entry points was great. Clean. I have a VERY nice bed at home, so it's really hard to reach that standard of comfort, but my back was in good shape while I was there.

Believe it or not, bathroom is always my priority when picking a room. I wish more hotels would increase the width of their tubs. I also wish more hotels would go with a handheld shower head,

We absolutely love the facility. We liked how it had places to sit to hang out with family. We were there for a family wedding. We’d like that there was a fireplace. Also, a TV, tables you can play games on.

the location was perfect, our reletives were close by in Louisville.

scrambled eggs, were great. not dried out. the sausage was perfect. loved the waffels, very easy to make.

The computers were down and we couldn.t get a receipt. as of today, no receipt has been mailed to us.

Joseph is the man

Joseph, the front desk guy, he was SUPER busy with a bunch of soccer team kids and families.. but he took the time to get some milk at night for my picky kid when I couldn't find anything she would like. They don't normally have milk available but he got some from the breakfast stuff. He said he was a picky kid too, so he understood. The pool was nice, the hot tub was nice, and the beds were SO COMFY. Room was nice.

Best hotel in the area

Being welcomed by Chris at the front desk and cookies available with a nice hot coffee station on arrival. It was late and we were tired. She made an extra accommodation for us so we were able to enjoy the hot tub for a little bit before bed. The facilities were clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good and there was a wide variety. If I ever travel to Ohio again, I will definitely stay there.

Upon arriving I parked, unloaded, and was about to head in to check.in when I realized I locked my purse and keys on my drivers seat. I will have to say, parking under a light pole that was vigorously flickering did not help, making me try to rush inside to get away from the light, which was bothering my senses. I went straight inside to ask the clerk if they had a special gut they call, when this kind of thing happens. She laughed at me, and said ummmmm no. You'll have to call someone. She had 0 care in the world that I literally had no purse, credit card, car keys, with me or my situation. She only wanted to check me in and move on. I then called AAA where that consultant told me to call the sherrif, because she would hate to see me have to pay to become a member and pay for same day assistance. So I called the city's non-emergency number, and was told they couldn't help because I was out of their jurisdiction. So I called a tow company, and after 2 hours of this mess and standing in the flickering lighting I was able to finally pay $89 for someone to finally help me. I would like to honestly feel like I am an appreciated customer, and that I matter. Getting a room stay reimbursed or a CODE for a future stay seems like a very reasonable gesture. I was rushed inside the building due to the broken flickering light pole.
