Candlewood Suites - Topeka West by IHG

Construction on facility made parking a bit challenging.. but its to be expected with that sort of thing. Still very happy with the facility

Staff was very professional. Provided assistance upon request. Quiet area with little to no traffic.

Parking was limited due to some ongoing construction. No swimming pool.

Helpfulness of staff, open laundry areas and workout areas is a genius idea to put those together. The absolute best place for extended stay necessities.

It was beautiful and clean. Staff was nice.

Disorganization and communication. We traveled 10 hours for funeral. We called before booking to ask if we would be able to check in at 2am because we would not make it in until then. We were told that was fine and there was no fee. We drove all the way there just to be told I couldn’t check in until 3pm.. AT 2 in the morning. Couldn’t cancel either because it would have charge $100 and we would still have to pay for another hotel. Luckily I was able to crash on someone’s couch until daylight. Called in the morning to see if there were any rooms open from early check outs. Was told that I would have to pay an early check in fee! Huh? Then was told that I can come at 11 and check in with no fee. Got there at 11 and the rooms had not even been checked. We finally got checked in around 12pm barely had time to even shower or anything. While there if we had questions no one seemed to have answers. Our TV went out so we called for help. The lady was so sweet, but she could not help. I don’t blame her for that though, it was a weird issue. I fixed it myself. Oh also we were told that they had breakfast when we called originally. There is breakfast snacks that you can buy and heat up and yogurt. Communication was just horrible.
