Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham

I liked everything about this hotel. The bed was super comfortable.

Very clean, friendly and affordable.

It would have been great to have a clock and ice bucket.

The only two disappointments were the 1) breakfast: area was kept very clean, but with the number of guests only one waffle machine was inadequate. We never got to try because of the lines waiting and the meat was tasteless breakfast sausages. The yogurt cups were tiny and no variety. The scrambled eggs were good but whole bar needed monitoring closer for refills. 2) Our room was very tiny and no closet for hanging clothes--we used pegs but did not allow wrinkles to fall out. The A/C and shower were great, but bed and pillows too soft with little support. We did request extra pillows and towels and received immediately. I will add there were several crews of construction workers that hurt the breakfast for other guests in ability to access fresh food and keeping bar replenished every morning. Management should have recognized and provided extra help.

Location and convenience

Small room. No closet. Drain was slow in the shower. Mattress was comfortable but blankets were very thin. Not very comfortable bedding.
