The pool, the coffee, the fact that there was a washer and dryer on every floor.
Housekeeping issues

The actual hotel and rooms were in good shape. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The landscaping was not well taken care of. The plants and shrubs were dead or overgrown. And there were weeds everywhere. It made the hotel seem less than appealing.

We were traveling back from Yellowstone and wanted to visit Dinosaur National Monument. Vernal was the obvious stop and Microtel was the best value I saw. Parking was good, check in was easy, room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
