Hampton Inn Broussard-Lafayette

Comfortable, clean, and staff very helpful. Water pressure in shower fantastic. Bath very spacious. Breakfast area very nice.

Little issue with a dip in floor boards near AC, but it did not change my opinion of facility. The room did seem a little tight in terms of space.

Breakfast was fair. Needed better meat selection

The location was good. And the bed was very comfortable.

The staff was a bit ruder than the normal hotels we stay in. From the breakfast door being shut in my daughter’s face. The fridge NOT staying cold and ruining 160.00 in food. The lack of communication and/or care about the fridge not working, or the need of towels being that we came in on Friday late afternoon and checked on Sunday morning. But the fridge and the Spanish speaking employees saying rude and/or inappropriate things about my multi-race daughter who is also of Hispanic descent and understood exactly what was being said. Of the older A/A front desk clerk that deliberately ignored me while asking for assistance or made the African male overnight front desk agent that suggested I put my food in the hotels fridge or on ice in the sick when the issue was reported. So maybe it was just me or the stay was a waste of money because of the mistreatment and lack of customer service.
