Fabulous stay

I absolutely loved this unique bed & breakfast and will most definitely stay there next time I’m in Chicago. The staff are very quick with responses, friendly, attentive, and grateful. Breakfast is made to order every morning and it is delicious. I was surprised how big their menu was. Each room is unique and so is the entire place. Lots to look at. I met a few really cool people during my stay. One couple said they stay there all the time and love it. Thanks for a great stay!!

A great place to stay.

The included breakfast was both fast and excellent. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and even worked to accommodate us for another night after our flight was delayed a day. Fantastic location with easy access to bars, restaurants, entertainment, and train access to the airport as well as the rest of the city.

Everything. The staff, the decor, the breakfast, the neighborhood, and the other patrons who were also staying. When we visit Chicago again, we’ll 100% be staying here again.

One thing is the subway is about a 15 minute walk. It’s a beautiful walk, so no complaints there, but it’s a bit further than we liked.

Charming, unpretentious vibe yet all the expected tradition of a bed and breakfast

It’s a mix of eclectic, communal style and old traditional charm. Breakfast was top notch. Homemade, fresh, and variety of options. Love the garage option if available. All external doors have a keypad. Neighborhood is wonderful and close to lots of charming restaurants and the blue line. Not a far Uber or drive to the downtown sights but far enough it doesn’t feel like the hustle and bustle of tourists. Very communicative staff and absolutely approachable.

Such a short visit not sure I have anything but I rebooked for another month for more time. So I’ll be able to have the full experience of all their services.

For us the bed was way too soft but I guess this is a question of taste.

Everything. The atmosphere, the staff, everything was incredible. I only wished I had stayed longer. Ashlee was very helpful and accommodating. I was upgraded to the room with a view and would highly recommend staying there.

Perfect quick work stay, will be back again

Easy check in process, Ashlee was very responsive. Location was great for walking around Logan Square. The room was perfect for what I needed, and more comfortable than most hotels that I stay at. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. I even hung around after check-out to work from the common area which was nice. I will be back again.

I had some issues getting hot water in the shower, but I got in late and didnt mind it. No complaints otherwise.

Bucktown Bnb with character

Ray's was amazing! Ashlee took such good care of us and even offered us a free upgrade. Upon arrival we saw all the charm that the BnB had to offer. You'll just have to see it to believe. There are a lot of nick knacks, art and collections in the common space, but our room was a sanctuary. The shower/jacuzzi tub was excellent, and the bathroom had a heated floor. They set up a pack n play for our baby and we all slept very well. In the morning there was coffee ready and amazing breakfast made to order by an excellent cook! We'll definitely stay here again if life brings us back to bucktown.

There were a few dust bunnies in the common area, but i only mention that because i can't think of a legitimate complaint. It was all so great!

Superb

Ray's was exceptional service. We had never stayed at a BnB before, so we weren't sure what to expect. But the first words they told us were "make yourself at home." It was very comfortable, I felt free to use the social areas, they provided free snacks (this was huge for us, taking 2 toddlers with us), and had coffee and tea available for mornings and evenings. Traveling with children can be a hassle and nerve wracking. You never know how your children are going to respond to new places or people, but Ray's made it comfortable even for the kids. They have a play area perfect for littles to enjoy so we're not confined to a room. They adjusted breakfast portions that were manageable for the kid to eat, and best of all they treated our kids like a friendly relative would. Also, breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Fantastic location, close to downtown.
