Very pretty building, great location for walking to downtown and easy to get buses up to Cornell. Loved that there is 24/7 tea and coffee available and the beautiful solarium room to eat breakfast in. Room was lovely and I liked the old fashioned lights. Probably if it weren't the middle of winter the outdoor areas would have been very pretty as well. Free parking for overnight guests in a nice lot, very appreciated especially with snow everywhere. There is a bar in the front lobby area but it's not noisy and closes up early.

Friendly staff, good location, onsite parking, and overall a pleasant stay.
Deep pile rugs, throw cushions, and throws, that were made with "hairy" fur-like fabric that attracted a lot of dirt over time and could clearly not be maintained clean. Not ideal when not all guests are careful.

We love the vibe. Love the history of it. Love the plants in the coffee room. Love the cozy bar. Love the convenient location.
Our bed was not as comfortable this time. Room 103. previously we were in 204.
