This is an updated Motel. Don’t be deceived by the very old sign at the front entrance.
It is a “self-check-in” motel, so make sure you have cell service to call the number on the front door, for the manager. David was very nice to deal with, and it was very simple to get into our room with it being a “keyless” entry.
The rooms have been refreshed & updated. The linens & towels being new, clean & crisp., with 4 new pillows per bed.
Smart TV, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and a good assortment of shower supplies.
It’s tucked back from the road just enough to not hear the traffic, and just far enough away, to not have the train wake you up. We stayed in #14, and had nobody above us, which was nice, and we could park right outside our door.
Cleaning staff were friendly & cheerful the next morning when we left.
We like simple check-in’s & check-outs, with a quiet & clean place to sleep. This was perfect for us.
