It is quiet and clean. The room is overall comfortable and I like that it’s all one level.
I don’t have anything I don’t like. This is our second stay. The only improvement that I’d like would be to update the bathrooms. The toilets are small and short. Definitely not a big issue for us, but it would be a good improvement to make.

Parked right in front of my door, cozy home-like feelings in all spaces.

Clean, nice location.
No problems at all.

Location was perfect for what we did in the area. The room was clean, and had a nice balcony
Lady at check-in, was not very personable, not courteous at all. She told us they weren't busy, so we asked to change one of the rooms we rented to be closer to the other room, (we would pay the difference if any) She said there was no way to do that since we booked thru Booking.com, actually she was quite rude about it. Breakfast was nominal at best, coffee was terrible and no eggs.

Very unfriendly staff. Check-in was ridicules. Breakfast was nothing. No supplies in bathroom. No coffee available in room.

Did not do breakfast there.
The beds were too hard and not comfortable.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Shower had good amount of hot water and pressure. The AC in our room never cycled, but it did keep the room comfortable. Breakfast was continental, with bagels, muffins, bread for toasting and cereal. I would have thought they would run out of some items however there always seems to be enough to feed everyone. I don't know if the muffins are cooked in house or at a bakery, but the blueberry muffins they had one day were really good. The location is across the street from a large breakfast restaurant that opens early and the motel is close to Cades Cove (~30 min).
My wife said that the bed was too hard, I like a firm bed, so it was fine for me. Wish that breakfast started earlier for the benefit of people who want to get to Cades Cove when it opens. Had to wait in line to get breakfast items because they are all in one small area. It was a long walk from out room to the office for breakfast and also to the ice machine that is up the hill. Wish that this and all motels had handheld shower wands.

This is a gem of a motel in one of the most beautiful little towns in USA. Rooms are very clean and well appointed - good shower, good bed, nice little fridge and microwave. Simple but very correct continental breakfast. Coffee is better than most of the little coffee houses in Townsend. If you are in Townsend for the Park and the beauty, you don't need more than this.
All good

The location and accessibility

The location . The front desk lady was wonderful !! There was a handicap rail in the bathtub! It was a lifesaver . Normally you don’t see them.
The floors could have been a bit cleaner but all in all was good.

Room was VERY clean which I loved! Beds were pretty comfortable - we had 2 queen beds. I had asked for no down comforter or pillows due to allergies and they accommodated me. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was Continental style with muffins (homemade and yummy), a few small pastries, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and beverages. Area was very clean and laid out ok. I appreciate cleanliness in a hotel and this one was great in that respect! Beautiful views of mountains, lovely property, close to everything in Townsend, walking path out front. Nice playground for kids. Laundry in back next to ice machine and soda machine. Pool not open due to out of season, but looked clean and had a hot tub alongside. Plenty of linens in bathroom. Microwave and small fridge in room. Overall, entire property was comfortable and very clean. It's not a fancy place, but it's got nearly everything you need.
No coffee/tea maker in room. - no access to coffee before 8 AM breakfast. For early risers who need their coffee as soon as they wake up, this might be a problem. Ice machine was in the back of the property in a separate building, but was easy access. You just had to go outside to get to it.

Comfortable room in a good location
The air con units of neighbouring empty rooms were on all night and very noisy. We were disappointed not to have a coffee maker in our room, especially when reception was closed.

Very friendly hosts. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. I'll definitely stay again if I find myself passing through Townsend. Thank you and God bless

The room is very clean, location is close to the main street and it's convenient. They have hard boiled eggs and oats mill for the breakfast.
I select Townsend other than Gatlinburg for a quiet weekend with my family. Unfortunately, there's a little bit noise from the road, I believe that's because the jeep event brought a lot of traffic in the town at that time.

Cold coffee. Complains and it was still cold. Toaster didn’t work very good
All pastries were cold. Not good

Won’t go back we were a late arrival and the place had taped our key to the door because the place was dark and completely deserted. We were the only people at the place we were scared to stay there but couldn’t leave because we had paid with booking.com.
The place was clean and they say the housekeeper would clean daily- not true. Thank goodness we didn’t stay more than two nights. We had to ask for toilet paper.

It was close to a lot of hiking trails and good restaurants.
Didn't realize the view was going to be the front of my car. Expected a little more for the breakfast. Yogurt and some fruit?
It was handy to have the pancake house right across the street.

This is a retro motel and is exactly as pictured. If you want to stay in a Hilton or Marriott, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable stay with gorgeous views, you'll be very happy. AC works great, beds are comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was excellent. And the sweetest ladies run the hotel. The staff is excellent! It reminded me of the places we would stay on trips when I was a kid. I didn't swim in the pool, but it looked very clean and several people were enjoying it. The area around Townsend is fantastic and offers lots of fun outdoor activities, including tubing, biking, hiking, and don't miss Tuckaleechee Caverns. I would stay here again.
The Continental Breakfast was cereal, bagels and toast. About what you would expect so not really a negative.

Cleanliness of the room, friendliness of the staff, swimming pool, lobby, and close proximity to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Cades Cove.
Rooms could use some more updating, more and better options on TV, softer mattresses on the beds, and perhaps consider converting the kiddie pool into a hot tub.

Locations! I was there to visit Cades Cove, it’s about 7 mins drive to entrance. There is a nice restaurant with outside sitting across this hotel with walking distance
Breakfast starts at 8am. It was too late for me. I did have a chance to check it out. I was there to photograph sunrise and animal activities, needed to leave at 6am. Lady at the reception was nice to give me a coffee machine, but no snacks

gorgeous location, everything clean, staff exceptional, very quiet, rooms a little dated but, comfortable.
I liked everything but, rooms could be updated because sometimes old takes away some comfort.

We loved the location away from the hubbub of Pigeon Forge. The staff was wonderful including the maid service. The facilities were very clean.
The breakfast was okay but limited. I would have liked some fruit included in the breakfast selections.

The setting near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is beautiful. We really enjoyed relaxing by and swimming in the pool. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The room was comfortable.
While the breakfast room is lovely and overlooks the mountains, the continental breakfast was pretty minimal. It would have been nice to have yogurt or fruit (apples or bananas) as an option along with the cereal.

So clean, nice staff, great location and comfy bed.
Breakfast needs to add more options.

I like the location, the price. The room was just what we needed. The place has charm.
The hard boiled eggs at the continental breakfast on Sunday morning were not cooked enough. I would like more comfortable chairs outside the king size rooms. Like the ones we saw outside the other rooms.

floor seemed a little dirty.
