The main lodge was a fantastic space filled with restaurants, bar, gift shops, and amazing views. The Blue Heron bar made drinks to order in a friendly atmosphere, and viewing the Tetons and wildlife from the main terrace was nothing short of divine. There were several options for coffee and breakfast, and an impromptu hike off the back of the lodge boasted spectacular scenery. The cottages were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of parking, but a little noise could be heard from neighboring rooms, and there is no view from within.
The dated feel of the cottages overshadowed their comfort, and The Mural Room cuisine was severely overpriced for the poor quality of the dishes. Everything was burned to a crisp, flavorless, and thoroughly disappointing for our entire party.

The location is fabulous
Thanks to the comments on booking.com we were well prepared. We had purchased food for two days (breakfast, lunch and cold dinner).
This precaution was necessary.
The dinner situation was indeed a total chaos.
In 1979 we visited then communistic bratislava, and we had the same type of experience. In hindsight both experiences will be the stuff for years of stories to tell to friends.
