Slept fine. Wouldn’t stay again.

Easy access to the freeway. Well lit parking lot. Updated interior. Windows kept freeway noise at bay.

Stairs only to access second floor. Arrived after 9:30pm and as a single female was given room that required distance solo walk on exterior of building to access. Shower head sprayed water all over floor and made it slippery. Shower walls were dirty with evidence of prior guests use (hairs and conditioner or lotion on walls-dried yellow substance) a this combination made showering after an 8 hour road trip unavailable.

Great value, affordable place to stay in a convenient location.

Modern decor, bright lights in parking lot, felt safe at night. Comfortable beds. Greatly appreciated the free snacks, beverages and filtered water in the lobby. Fantastic location: 5 miles from SNA airport and 6 miles from Newport Beach. Pleasant & helpful staff.

It was well priced for the area. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. I arrived around 10:30pm and left the next morning at 10:00 so I had little time to really experience the property.

The RATS in and around the designated smoking area. Unnerving but not terribly surprising since the smoking area abuts to the hotel garbage cans!!!

Exhausted from driving all night and arriving VERY early in the morning, we dropped by the hotel much earlier than expected, hoping that we might be able to get in the room a little earlier. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating. She was able to get us into our room right away which made an ENORMOUS difference between working that afternoon with no rest and no ability to freshen up and getting set up for our event feeling at least half-way human. We appreciated her and her hospitality so much.

Maybe thicker bedding. The coverlet was as thin as a typical bed sheet and the two blankets we found in the closet were thin and had holes/cuts in them.

Short but sweet stay!

A simple hotel done right! Location was perfect and staff was wonderful. The property looks recently refurbished and was giving a boutique surfcity vibe. The pool and Jacuzzi looked very inviting. Room was thoughtfully stocked ... even providing a robe and slippers. I will definitely stay here again.

The property was clean, model and felt recently updated. Showers and rooms were updated and modern feeling. Beds could have been a little more comfy, but not a deal breaker. The continental breakfast was deceivingly tasty and filling. Coffee machine was amazing, with several automated options.

Tattoo and tacos with the smell of weed next door. But it was more of an eye sore than anything else. Didn’t impact our stay at all.

Perfect place for what we needed, a clean, well-lit hotel for an event and fun in the pool with kids

The facilities were pristine. The bedding was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage and clothing. The price was excellent and the free breakfast bar included many options. This seems to be a place where people stay because it's affordable, but go other places rather than spend time at the hotel. My family stayed in town for a retirement party. We went to the pool 3 times and had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves.

The location is ok, but not great. The reimagined motel is off of a busy street. We walked to dinner and felt perfectly safe, but the neighborhood lacked joy. We went to 17th & PCH for a wonderful dinner. Eat Chow was a 1.5 mile walk there and $3.50 Lyft back.

Great value.

They have maximized their enhancements of the property. The room was immaculate. They now have amenities like make up remover, shower cap, even a toothbrush. This location is very close to family so we stay there a couple of times a year. My husband really appreciates the breakfast.

Beautifully updated and very modern, like staying in a European hotel. Comfy and spotlessly clean.

The doors don't have enough sound proofing; not a tragedy but some traffic noise still sealed through around the edges.

Good value in a great location

I liked the location most of all. We went to go to a concert at Segerstrom and to spend time at the beach and to go to the Newport Beach Temple. It was super convenient for all those places. The bed was comfy. The parking was great.

First impression upon driving into facility: very clean parking lot, clean, painted building, great color palate for hotel, very good, visible “OC” sign on building. Excellent service from front desk staff, upon arrival and leaving the next day. Very clean room, comfortable beds. Good selection for breakfast in the morning.

Nemi checked us in and was so great! We loved the care given to everything: cleanliness, lovely continental breakfast; the fixtures and decor in the room and it’s bathroom, the pool, provided parking…I can’t say enough about how this exceeded our expectations.
