Stunning location. Nice staff. Great room. Would appreciate bringing the price down so more people could experience it.

Great location. You can walk next-door to the famous Columbia river Gorge, Hotel, and have breakfast lunch or dinner. There is a waterfall over there. The grounds over there are stunning. Centrally located you can cross the bridge into Washington.

The price. It’s very very expensive and the Columbia River Gorge next-door is actually cheaper. I didn’t like how the tall pine trees were obstructing your view of the river, which is what you’re paying for.

Large room with kitchenette! Cozy space with comfy bed! Responsive staff!

The internet was slow so TV had inconsistent sound. Fixed the next day it seemed. The stairs had no light but got fixed the next night.

Very nice, quiet location with views of the gorge.

The property was quiet the whole time we were there. The first night the place was full for Mother's Day. The second night only a handful of people were there.

Maybe a few more outside seating areas. I realize space is limited.

Cliffside magic in cute mountain town - a little loud though

Clifftop views and in the middle of everything with hikes and cute town with great food and coffee, staff were wonderful

The cliff side rooms were loud from the train track that ran directly below it, and from the old loud air conditioners. Other rooms probably were quieter but would not have had the views

Panoramic river view.

The River View room had just that, an awesome panoramic view of the river. There is no microwave and a small fridge in the bathroom, which is odd, but ok. Will stay here again.

Gorgeous location, very comfortable and great staff!

The location is amazing! We had a view of the Columbia River. The room was very well-equipped, even if you want to stay in and cook, it had a small kitchen. It is also beautiful with nice touches in decor. The staff was extremely helpful, both by providing suggestions for activities and helping to direct us to our rooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only thing that could be better is if there were screens on the windows. We love the night air in the summer but could not open the windows due to the mosquito season.

The location was beautiful. The room was gorgeous. Even though the bedroom was next to the interstate, the sound was muffled.

The sink in the bathroom didn't drain well. I used the kitchen sink to wash my hands and brush my teeth

Location overlooking the Columbia River was wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't have a river-view room, but that was fine. There are lovely gardens connecting Columbia Cliff Villas with the neighboring grand Columbia Gorge Hotel, which guests are invited to visit and explore. Plenty of scenic viewpoints. It's a peaceful spot, but just 5 minutes by car from downtown Hood River.

No place onsite (either at the Villas or the neighboring Hotel) to get coffee/tea and scone/muffin. The Villas are all individual units. The Hotel offers dining services, but nothing quick so you can get something to go and sit on the river-view patio.

Unexpected treasure alongside the Columbia River

Amazing view above the Columbia River. Creative landscaping, architecture and even a waterfall.

Minor issue, we were in a corner room, which had a downspout outside. A very light drizzle caused a constant drip, which created a non-stop "tap-tap-tap", making it difficult to sleep. Fortunately, the rainfall increased and the tapping changed to a pleasing rush of water to lull us to sleep!
