The only positive thing about the room was the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was horrible. The tub was so outdated/nasty looking it was hard to tell if it was clean. There was a foul smell in the bathroom, possibly the shower curtain? The floors were dirty/hair/dust behind the door & the knob was falling off. Terrible breakfast. Nothing hot or nutritious. Cold cereal & muffins only. We paid less for accommodations that were 10 times better than this place in other states.

It's a nice, clean, comfortable hotel

Nothing wrong with the staff, comfort, cleanliness, or location. It was nearly full, but the noise was minimal. It was a pleasant stay.

Rather small complaints, but here they are. The coffee was rather tasteless, and no protein for breakfast unless you count the little yogurts.

Convient, they accommodated for the needs of the guest

The breakfast was as good as it needed it to be. Coffee was very good. Tables were needing to be wiped off, but there was quite a few diners, so passable. Very quiet in the room.

A washer dryer facility would have helped a lot since there was a pool to use. Suits needed to be dried. There wasn't a garment/ wet clothes bag in the room to put the suits in.

The stay was what I expected and enjoyable.

I thought the stay was very pleasant. The room and the bed were comfortable.

My only complaint was the breakfast. The regular coffee ran out and I had to wait for a refill. The breakfast was limited compared to comparable motel options. The TV listings were very hard to maneuver around to see something of interest.

Relaxing, peaceful, and just what we needed for our weekend getaway.

We stayed here a few years ago as well and have been pleased both times. The location is great, the staff is very friendly, and you can't beat the price. It's also very quiet and the rooms are a good size.

Excellent value and close to everything you need for a Dunes vacation!

The location was perfect for our visit to the Dunes State Park. It was also close to several fast food restaurants (McDonald’s, Wendy’s) coffee shops (Dunkin’ and Starbucks) as well as a grocery store (Jewel Osco) and a Walgreens. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant to work with. The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was not bad, but it would have been nice to have additional protein options.

The hotel was exceptionally priced and wonderfully located near Indiana Dunes National Park.

A piece of clothing was left in the room from the previous occupants. Which makes you wonder how well the room was cleaned as a whole.

This Place Was a Godsend When We Were Having Car Trouble

We were greeted by a friendly, capable young man at the front desk. We stayed at this place, because we were having car trouble & it really helped to see his smiling face when we got there. If I could rate his performance, I'd give him a 10. The room was clean, comfortable, & homey. Everything worked great & we appreciated the bedside clock & outlets in the lamps above the nightstands. Breakfast had the usual options of cereals, pastries, yogurt, apples & bananas, milk, juices, and a waffle-maker. They also had little breakfast burritos for the microwave. The breakfast area was kept clean while we were there. I'd recommend staying here.

Quiet, clean and comfortable!! The bed was so comfortable!!! The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choices and pleasant staff refilling coffee and food as needed. The location was perfect for the state and national parks, plus it was close to restaurants.

We were fine with using the stairs (nice wide stairway) but not having an elevator could pose a problem for some.

Comfy bed but the mice were loud and you can get locked out of your own bathroom with no one in it.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great for our purposes in the area.

Mice! We were woken by mice rummeging through our stuff. While shooing the mice out, the bathroom door was shut and locked itself. When I went to the front desk to mention the mice and get the bathroom door unlocked, they waved away the mouse issue and complained that all the bathroom doors have malfunctioning handles, and that they need replacing.

Breakfast was not fully ready in the mornings. We had completed eating before waffles were even offered. Room was adequate, but I would not say clean. It appeared that there was plenty of room available, yet we were placed on a 2nd floor room - and we had quite a bit of luggage to carry up the stairs. It was adequate in most ways; however, your customer service was spot on! Stellar performance by your staff.

Pretty good location with lots of grocery stores and restaurants around. Not too fair from the Indiana Dunes parks.

I don't know if it's still under construction, but I wasn't aware that would be happening while I was staying there. All the workers were very nice and would even move to the side to let me head upstairs. But I probably would've picked somewhere else while they were doing renovations.
